Watched this for the first time last night. I'm pretty baffled by most of it, but that scene behind the diner cut through me like nothing I've ever seen before. It truly is like Lynch managed to capture a nightmare on film! Also the wierd woman with the veil scared me as well. SOmething about the way the light hits her face makes her look false, like its a mask. That was the first time in my adult life that a movie has kept me up at night after watching it.
