And she told me "When housing goes down a little bit we will be able to afford one."
That is one area where I have taken advantage buying many acres of land at rock bottom prices. I can only hope that the poor people who really needs homes can get them now while they are still very very cheap. One day it will rise again.

@sagequan No tax cuts, I miss my 1200 a year I got with Bush cuz his stimulus plan was a joke. His cash for clunkers raised the price of used cars so much that its wiser to buy new. The housing market is at its lowest, now people owe on there houses when they sell without any profit. Gas prices are over $3 a gallon with no reason for it. At least last time there was war. He denied other countries to help us clean up the oil spill making millions in the gulf region sick and our marine life die.

But a closer look revealed that medicare and medicaid income where used to make it look balanced. While medicare and medicaid at that point had a surplus, that was needed for the future. I think it is in 2012 that medicare and medicaid is calculated to become a burden on the budget.
