MA has some of the most generous social services in America. Being a panhandler in MA means you either have a serious mental problem (and can't be expected to spend the money you get in a responsible way) or you are doing it for extra cash.
Funny how they can all afford cigarettes. Most of them in my home town also have dogs. There are plenty of government agencies & charities in place. IMO, this is just a scam. They make more money sitting on their asses than I did in a full day in the classroom.

You what i love to do to panhandlers. I tell them to wait where they are (especially if its cold or raining out) and i tell them i will come back from the bank with $50 for them. I then go up to my office and watch them grow more impatient after the minutes pass and my secretary and i laugh our asses off. Its really fun, i recommend everyone try it.

Don't feed the pigeons, and goddam it don't feed the panhandlers. Giving them money only makes it worse, especially for vulnerable women. When hustlers don't get money they can get mad and attack someone.

Wow I must be really good at it, panhandling I mean wherein I usually make $20 per hour in Calgary which is far better then the $10 minimum wage
