  • Utterly zen moments in this game. Street Fighter is frantic, struggling karate and wrestling. Samurai is more zen and decisive with deadly weapons. If the weapon or sword makes direct contact, the fight is nearly over. Hanzo is way cooler than Ibuki btw lol... awesome illusion ninjutsu.

  • This isn't a fight but a show of skills and bullying because he set the difficulty level to 1, being the easiest.

  • are there fatalities in this? If there is, how do u do them?

  • nice skills

  • Helll yeah!! Genjuro--- THE MAN!!!!

  • They are cooking Alien in a pot :) and is that the Red Guards from Star Wars? XD

  • @blukmage19R

    Great info :)

  • HORRIBLE ATMOSPHERE.

This game can get pretty brutal. I think some of the commenters who bring up the difficulty level haven't played it.

  • @FMagl Some examples include that kyo user, and I see those comments on just about every game playthrough. Those comments blow my top, for it might hurt beginners and eventually scare them. They just don't understand how the game is played. If they do, they should shut up and enjoy the playthrough.

  • @IceChateau777 This is true. There are always people looking for an opportunity to brag or at least trash the uploader.

There may be some fighting game elitism in this case, but I think it's just as likely that some of these people have never played SSII.

  • don't be involved in "the troubles"

  • I guess Genjuro became your fave...any reason?

  • @Spynmaster

Cause i like the frog ending ;)

  • Samurai Showdown II really is an awesome game, it really improves on the characters, and furthermore some of those stages has incredible music. Charlotte's theme is this I think better than I, for it sounds more aggressive while remaining noble, but Cham-Cham's theme is awesome, it's like samba with middle eastern elements, it's very catchy, Furthermore, for anyone who plays the drums, her theme would make for an excellent drums cover.

  • what happened to wan fu's schimtar from part one?

  • good hyper street fighter is different from SUPER STREET FIGHTER 2 TURBO. but that is the maximum level of that hyper street fighter xq is very different levels. .......... especially to be the perfect akuma xq doubt the hardest level 8 super street fighter impocible perfect to give him Akuma. quisas in this version is weaker than in the super street fighter 2 ,..............

    in order for

because the need to curse ...???

    uneducated?

  • jajaja level 1 ??? uy no pense que seria mas interesante en level 8 .........

  • @kyo94jin

Longplays are NOT about SKILL showcase, they are just normal playthroughs!

  • @cubex55 But then wouldn't it be at the normal difficulty, level 4?

  • LOL cute little froggy hops tords teh winner winner says Im gonna kill you now and poor widdle froggy hops away and then he says fine have it your way and teh cute widdle frog hops to follow him =P

  • genjuro is just haohmaru's little baby brother

  • I just tried this out and I should say I've missed out on alot. Oh just to let the people know. It's a longplay, the difficulty shouldn't matter to you.

  • i used Hanzo and Galford

  • What have we learn so far. In the end even the strongest man has a soft spot for a...

...I think it was a frog...

Samurai Shodown Sen however... IS A EVIL, EVIL GAME.!!! >:-(

  • So did you select Genjuro so he could back at Haohmaru for using him as a slashing bag during the initial tutorial? Just kidding ;) Great longplay as usual.

  • i prefer to be hahomaru whenver i play samurai shodown.

  • i love the music in this game

  • why in level 1?

  • @ZeoSilver

Yeah. But the english "translations" in this game are no different than what AMERICANS post on the internet.

Read through the comments sections on YouTube alone and you'll see what I mean.

  • Engrish at its best :D

  • galford was the man!

  • I'm sure anyone can beat this on easy for an amature!

  • A real classic game, I usuall playe Nakoruru, Hahomaru and Cham-Cham a lot, also nice playthrough.

  • Wow. You really can't get a joke, do you?

  • I use Charlotte, Ukyo, Nicotine, Haomaru, Nakoruru, Hanzo, Jubei, Cham-Cham, Galford, Genjuro, and Kyoshiro. And I like to play on at least level 5.

  • My God you is fail in english

  • I have never seen the deaths on the PAL version on SSII

I must be crap, is that on AES ?

  • @ AbhiB

The uploader probably has a UNIBIOS 2.0 or higher installed in his Neo-Geo.

  • Man, these graphics still look great. The NeoGeo was a 16-bit powerhouse!

  • @vio2112

not jsut that; it seems that sprites tend to have an eternal charm. no matter how old they get, they always look amazing. 3D graphics, on the other hand....

  • @vio2112 you mean 24 bit lol

  • @RamDi3sel Nah. It was 16-bit hardware, even though it's graphics were often more like 24-bit/32-bit quality. From Wikipedia:

"The Neo Geo was marketed as 24-bit, though it was technically a 16-bit system with an 8-bit Zilog Z80 as coprocessor."

  • The character I used in this game was Hanzo, Ukyo, and Galford

  • I use Charlotte or Nakoruru in the first game. Nakoruru is my main.

  • Cool but NAGASF2

  • THE BEST Game ever !!!!!!!!!!!! Sieger master !!!

Why did you play in level 1 ? hauahuahauha Oh man... put in level 4 or more... uaaaa !!

  • Genjuro is a babe!!! I love this game!!

  • naw. not as much a babe as you. lol

  • Oh god that intro is the perfect example of engrish, lmao.

  • LOL @ Haohmaru as his first opponent.

  • Now do the whole Samurai Shodown, from III-V Special!

  • The "Ninjas" on the Background, how nice of them to keep it fair.

  • WOW!! this one's now on the VC

  • Neo-Geo classic.
