@historyman9 The Army and Navy EODs are different from AFEOD. Air Force bomb monkies are more highly trained and handle the larger explosives, weapon caches and stuff like that.

Army, Marine and Navy EODs take care of the lower-key things and (typically) don't actually defuse explosives, rather just throw C4 ontop of the IEDs and detonate it.

Wow, apparently you didn't read before. I spent 6 years in the USAF. But it is nice to see that the intellegence level of your job is still set slightly above 4th grade name calling, congrats. EOD school is the second hardest school in the DoD, only surpassed by spec ops medic. Now if you have the crab you know this simple fact. LMAO, Air Force EOD is primarily on base response. Outside the gate you're looking at getting Army EOD response. We have cooler equipment that you can deploy on the move. ;)

SEALS don't have EOD but EOD techs are assigned to spec ops units. Hince why we have the highest drop out rate in training.

So we agree that it is NAVSCOLEOD. And yes the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force have their own indoc. schools at seperate bases. Army at Red Stone Aresonal, Air Force is back at Lackland AFB I believe, and I can't remember where the Marines is, I want to say Camp Lagune.
