Downs is not a syndrome, its a race, just like Caucasian or Asian.

My aunt was down syndrom and she had a big heart. She was fun and playful. She talked exactly like this but with a higher pitch <3 I miss her and i hope shes in a better place. Im glad they made this.im just saying but who would ever dislike this? they dont have a heart

Aren't there laws that prevent people from firing others because they have handicaps or disabilities. How could anyone fire him, that's so mean. He's seems so nice and happy.

@WhiteFlowerLei76 The laws are to stop them being fired on the bases of having the disability, but if the disability affects there ability to do the job, then the law is exempt. In the same way as that it wouldn't be illegal to fire a bus driver after he lost his vision, for example.

Yes, I agree!!! Very well said!!! I have a 5yr old grandson w/ Down Syndrome, & he is sweet & loveable....However, he is turbocharged, has meltdowns, & a stubborn streak, etc...All boy - All the time!!! What IS important is that he IS treated just like one of the family. No more, no less!!! :-)

They are not all happy !!Seeing as they are normal people they suffer with depression, have sexual feelings, and can be maudlin, obsessive, care-free, rude and mean just like anybody else. Equality means you don't need to patronise folk. You just have to treat them EQUALLY.

There is actually a very high suicide rate for teenagers and young adults with Down Syndrome. But in spite of all the crap that people with Down Syndrome face they do seem to have a more positive attitude than most typical people.
