3:02 kinda funny he mentions that cuz ive played THPS2,3,4 and both undergrounds, but i really havent gotten into skating until i played THPG. Like when i played THUG1, i tried to ollie and stuff but gave up quickly, now im about 2weeks into skating and i can do basic stuff and enjoy learning more at my own pace and skating with friends. Sux tho that nail the manual isnt on the ps2 version.

EA Skate is a brilliant game, undoubtedly.

Its main positive is the flickit controls.

In comparison, THPG is still a well made game, but feels lesser in comparison, when an ollie is a tap of 'x' compared to the slide of a stick. After playing skate, THPGs set up is still great, but actual gameplay and general feel is significant lesser than skate.

Skate feels more real and therefore more enjoyable, im not one for realism, games should be an escape, but the controls compared, let it down.

I played all of the TH games. From THPS to THP8, but I still haven't played THPG and I'm having second thoughts on buying it.

From all of the games, I liked these best: THUG 1 and 2, THAW and THPS 4. THP8 was kinda crappy, but now I don't know if I should buy THPG. Could someone give me some positive and negative points on THPG?

Well, here is a few basic statements:

1. You will definitely like it if you have been a fan for years.

2. Some parts of it are surprisingly realistic like the weather effects.

3. Other parts are very unrealistic, but still very fun.

4. Overall, I think it's definitely worth buying :)
