  • Were was this taken at. I love the Cascade just a unique and beautiful train.

  • @otis656 It's a safety regulation put in by the government. Amtrak is working on quick-acceleration trains for the Detroit-Chicago line. Other than that, most trains start out slow.

  • @peterandben Oh, shut up. The F40PH and the AMD-103/P42DC are both fine, powerful, and classy locomotives. If you want to foam, go find another foamer.

  • Those last few cars that raced across the tracks were crazy!

What the car at the end of the train another engine or a funny caboose?

  • @tjw1963 I made a typo and should have put, Was the car at the end of the train another engine or a funny caboose?

  • @tjw1963 Thanks Teresa, It is another engine. I just got back from a long trip to California. I heard you were in Forbes from racing16. I just finished reading it, great to see.

  • @brickbuilder711 Thanks

  • i couaght this one in salem after u did lol funny stuff

  • Great video - thank you. The articulated (lightweight?) coaches don't look anywhere near as tough as the locomotives though! Have you ridden on the train? I've always wanted to do the run between Portland and Vancouver in British Columbia, but England where I live is too far away and fares are very expensive! Thanks for being there to film the train – makes up for me not being able to come to see it myself.

  • How long it take the train to reach Seattle?

  • Do the big attachments on the end do anything, or are they just special connectors?

  • I see that sucker sitting across from my apartment here in Eugene. I guess it gets cleaned and restocked here.
