  • does any one know the name of the jam in the beginning?

  • @SEFROTEE It doesn't have a name, it's just a little jam they did. They used to have a reggae jam WAY back in the '02-'04 days that they'd play in the middle of Everything Evil.

  • awesome!!

  • I wish they did shit like this in New York...

  • @superstriker00

they did this exact shit in nyc lol i was dere

  • @timmymc77 ... The fuck? XD It's not on the dvd...

  • @superstriker00 yes, it is...

  • Does ANYONE know where I can download this jam? I dont think the "neverender- children of the fence" album has it!!

  • @shotgunork "Neverender Children of the Fence" was filmed in New York at Terminal 5 and this was filmed in Hollywood at the Avalon... as noted in the description. So of course it doesn't fucking have it!!

  • @osostewie Yeah it does have it...

  • Look at Claud's hair dance.

    Long live Coheed and Cambria.

    -One amongst the Fence

  • i NEED tabs

  • he owned those girls lol

  • can you see right up that chicks shirt or what

  • @MiguelsChannel whens this?

  • @sgman310 54 seconds in

  • maybe this is something they are working on for the prequel, if it is I can tell its going to be very amazing already.

  • I actually think the new album is going to be extremely heavy. I have some inside leads and I think it might be straight up metal.

  • send me some links or something to these, leads. or like leaked music.

  • claudio himself said that they are going backfor a more sstb feel.

  • Hopefully not. Claudio has been messing around with the Sitar, so hopefully it is very "Neverender intro to Lying Lies."

  • I don't want straight up metal...but I do want heavy. I'm talking heavy like the "Feed Little Maggot..." part in Fuel for the Feeding End and the breakdown part in "The End Complete." I think Coheed could use more stuff like that. I also enjoy a funky jam like this....either way, it's going to be great...I would like to hear some funky/heavy shit.

  • @EverythingEvil007 Listen to the garage recording from when they were still Shabutie.

  • I wish there was a recorded version of this.

    Its so fucking good.

  • Chris is better. Josh fit better.

  • fucking amazing

    coheed are gods

  • omfg this was probably one of the sickest things about neverender.

i loved this jam session and i wish i coulda been there for like a second of this =/

  • he screwed up the first verse at neverender NY, and now we see he did it again in LA. "when are you girls gonna help me out?" haha, that was classic, i love claudio.

  • i really hope they incorporate this jam into a song on the prequel. it totally reminds me of a second stage-esque sound, which i think would go perfectly on the next album.

  • man that intro really worked for thesong. they shouldve but it on the album

  • chris is starting to warm up a bit. im starting to think hes actually a worthy replacement to josh :D.

  • chris proved himself to be better than josh the first time he hit the stage with coheed. josh was great, but chris is taking what josh created and made it his own, completely unbelievable work. but josh better than chris? HA!

  • completlely correct

  • well said.

  • Josh grooved a lot more, where as chris is much more technical. I personally think Josh is a great drummer and deserves a lot of respect, but I'm ready to hear what chris pennie has in store for this prequel. even though he wrote the parts for NWT. i want to actually hear him play the music this next album.

  • he could outplay josh blindfolded...

  • I highly doubt this will make an appearance on any future album, to me it seems like they just play it for fun because it's tuned the same as Miss Erica. Claudio writes a new riff/song every day it seems. this is just one they decided to use.

  • love that interlude bit they play at the beginning.

someone needs to upload it from the neverender DVD

  • shame this isn't on the neverender CDs

  • It is on the one I have....

  • I got the box set and you only get a little bit of it at the end of The Suffering but not the whole thing.

  • Uh oh, be they were embarrassed, "When are you girls gonna help me out?" Claudio says.....

    Tell them bitches Claud.

  • hahahaha good lookin out dude.

  • almost looks like travis lost weight

  • lol @ claudios little swaying jigg at 1:00 :)

  • I hope they write like this on ther new album, and they probably will cause claudio describes it as "very melodic".

    Claudio rules all!

  • Claudio needs to be careful when he goes and bangs his Godly hands together. Does he have insurance on those things? He should.

  • he did this in nyc too...almost like it was intentional to make the girls look more useless :)

  • hahah i second that! they need to turn their mics dowwn!

  • Or off *cough*

  • I actually take back my previous comment. I do not want the girls to turn their microphones off. They actually sound pretty damn good on the recording of Neverender 12%. Besides, it does make it easier on Claudio, Travis, and Mic.

  • the jam sess is flippin awesome...and miss erica court is always a good song...

  • i think that there is alot of bass but this is awsum

  • Bass is never a bad thing bass is important man, its vital my good sir! ROFL xD \m/^_^\m/

  • I miss josh. This only makes it worse.

  • In saying that I meant I miss Josh, he would've made this better.

  • No need to give him a thumbs down. He was only expressing his opinion. I like Chris more than Josh, and I bet CoheedMars90 is not going to give me a thumbs down because my opinion contradicts his.

    Grow up YouTube.

As far as the song goes, I'm glad Claudio messed up. It proves he is human. Those girls should get off their pretty little feet and grab a guitar to help him out if they are not going to sing like he pays them to. Claudio = almost God (This video proves he is as close as mortals get)

  • this entire post is bullshit.

    that sentence was a lie.

    *clap clap*

  • chris pennie is a bad man

  • i must admit, i really like chris pennies grooving style

  • He's getting tired, Son bitch girls need to go over there and help him hold the guitar, atkeast be good for something! :)

  • they should just cook him a nice meal

  • man i cant wait until the next album man.

  • "When are u girls going to help me out" lol

  • i must say i fucking love this jam.

ive even took the time to sound it out and learn claudios part.

its in my videos if anyone wants to see

  • If this is their new writing style then i can't wait for next album.

  • i love the incredible power of coheed, they always can turn nothing into something amazing

  • this is a hard song to sing and play

  • isnt that the fun part though?

  • exacctlyyy

  • poor claudio, he probably feels so awful. he has messed that song up at every neverender so far. i bet he's going to practice it a ton for london.

  • It's really annoying when you get your ass kicked by your own song :\

  • yea haha. i feel bad for him. but i'm sure he'll get it right in london, the song is probably on repeat on his ipod until then lol.

  • I could be wrong, but from watching some vids of it, it seems like he didn't do it in chicago

  • he definitly did this same jam in chciago followed by miss erica court

  • I meant fucking up the beginning lyrics of Erica Court ;)

  • i think he said when are you girls gonna help me out

  • this show was the least of the LA ones for me.

they seemed to lack the same energy they had in the IKSSE3 Day two.

they did come back for the little everything evil medley, and that was awesome.

i was just kinda disappointed in how.. lethargic the Willing Wells were.

which is totally understandable, as its 3 nights into concerts, and thats 30 solid minutes of music without a "break."

but again, my favourite of that day was everything-trooper-devil in jersey city-evil.

  • The Everything Evil Medley is the best part of most of the shows. It's the bands choice to break free a little bit, like on The Final Cut. Do you have any ideal how annoying it is to play the same songs over and over week after week, when they're the songs you played a million times in studio? It gets old fast.

  • i agree, but dont you think even that (EE Medley) must be getting annoying to play as well.

  • Wasn't this fucking incredible? I am so glad you got such high quality footage of this, especially with how close you were. This song was probably the highlight of the album.(I was at the NYC show)

  • "when are you girls gonna have it down"

    xD

  • i think he said when are you girls gonna help me out...bc they were barely singing when his voice died out

  • damn, he sounded rather frusterated at this point. i think its the fact that this song is really hard, and hes probably saying things he doesnt mean. hes probably thinking like "well i have to play this difficult part, and they have to stand there, shouldn't they be backing me up??"
