They basically called themselves Dean Lickyer because somebody with that name inspired them to play in a band, so they called themselves after him/her. Can't remember the relation though.

One of the band member's dad's friend was named Dean Lickyer, and they introduced his dad to rock, which then got passed on to one of the members. Can't remember which one though lol.
