People argue for continued use (or abuse) of vehicles to support the lifestyle they've grown accustomed to because of these vehicles. But there's no reason why we can't change our lifestyle, like Jesse suggests, to some more environmentally friendly alternative.
I find I almost always disagree Margaret Wente's columns. If you want to explore xenophobic, middle class, conservative values she never fails to deliver (and infuriate).
Yes that's right! Raise taxes on everybody so a few people who are to cheap to buy their own car can live off the taxpayers! I hate liberals who call people names, because someone drives a car that they dont like. That lady was right on, good to see there are still some rational people living in Canada/
