I have to say, both Ohio State and Texas are great schools and field great teams. They also got the BEST Bands in the NCAA! HOOK EM HORNS AND GO BUCKS!! (I lived in both states, Columbus Ohio and Austin Texas) Great Sportsman ship and respect to both schools!

I don't see why everyone is arguing over a marching script, tons of teams do it, and they all do it their own way so their really is no just cause for bashing either band.

In my opinion Ohio is better at marching but Texas has a better sound, but the truth is they are both great bands and are deeply rooted in their college history and both demand respect.

I agree with you on that. Having lived in both Ohio and Texas, they have true class and respect to each other. Colt McCoy showed that at the Fiesta Bowl last year. Coach T and Coach Mack gave each other great respect.

while at the game we were treated very nicely and got to see another great school display their own collegiate traditions. i have a changed mind about the state of texas. but if your gonna knock the incomparable script ohio then by all means go hook yourself in the ass. that is embedded in our tradition and no one should down talk it unless they have a worthy tradition to rival it. (i honestly liked grass better too...and the gray O was better also). but its still the best time ever no matter...

I think Ohio State has the most overrated band in the country. From all the videos i've seen on youtube, their sound isn't the greatest. Following the leader isn't very difficult. Of course, this could be due to instrumentation. In terms of sound, I think the Michigan Marching Band wins the Big 10.

You know what I've noticed that makes me proud to be a longhorn. Texas fans get on here and congratulate Ohio State for this amazing formation but all the Ohie State fans get on the script Texas and knock it. Ohio State has no class.

Awesome show. Great band. I'm glad I got to see them do this. Even though we lost that night, it was a good half time. Too bad the game wasn't that great of a game.
