Damned FileFront never lets me download its files. Something about "all servers being used up" or something. And it gives the same message no matter what time I try to download. I'm sorry, but is there a mirror for this download? Like on Megaupload or Rapidshare or other similar file hosting webs?
No non-filefront mirror, but you might try the couple of different filefront mirrors swbffiles provides or, if you've already tried that, going to gametoast (dot com) and using the upload link I provide there.
SWBFFiles only showed me one mirror the last time I checked. And it, too, din't work well for me. I suppose its just because they don't have that many available download servers for my country, but even when they DO, the top speed I get from them is around the 500 bytes to 2kb range. Which makes a measly 20 mb file take 6 - 8 hours to download. God I hate FileFront sometimes. Dx
Woot - I dunno if I'm just lucky or that link you provided at GameToast was special, but I can actually download it from FileFront now! Its at a turtle-paced speed of 4kb/s, but even so, its better than nothing.
Look around on the Windows Movie Maker forums; I don't remember exactly what it was called, but it's pretty easy to find if you just search for how to do the "Star Wars crawl."
Turn down visual settings, check to make sure you're not over the map limit - same things you should try with any mod map that crashes. There's nothing wrong with the map; if you're getting a crash it's a setting on your computer that needs to be tweaked (or a file, i.e. having too many modmaps).
Good and bad news: Good news is that the map wasn't the problem. The bad news is that no map works...not even convo pack 2.0 or the origional BF2 maps.

Hmm, every time I try to launch the map in any gamemode I get a crash to the desktop, even re-downloaded it twice.

Windows Movie Maker:
Used a plugin for the shrinking title and the standard scroll perspective for the scroll.

It installs like any other mod map:
Installation Instructions:
Run ADS.exe and point it to your addon directory (Star Wars Battlefront IIGameDataaddon)
or
Extract folder ADS to your desktop, cut and paste to your "addon" folder located
in Star Wars Battlefront 2GameData.
