The first version I heard of this song was this one by Juice Newton. I totally fell in love with the

song by the way Juice Newton sang it. I didn't think anyone could match it. Then Cyndi Lauper came out with her version. I love that one as well. I think both are great, and are sung with a lot of grit and guts !! Both versions are great !!

Miss Newton I've been your fan since I was 12, this was one of my favorites back when I was in 8th grade! yes! in Mexico you had a big success with "It's a heartache" and ever since I've loved your voice, I had the chance to see you in San Diego in 1999 in an "Aids walk" concert, God Bless you Miss Newton!

Actually, her real name is Judy Kay Newton. Many years ago she had it legally changed to Juice.

Hi Mick, there is a story behind her name, but I can't remember it now...will have to look it up...Juice has a great voice and music...she was very popular back in the 80's...she was HUGE at the time...her success I mean...she is of normal height and weight...LOL...glad you liked it, thanks! :D
