  • I too saw the Soundstage TV Show and was hooked!!! Heat Treatment and Howlin Wind 2 of the greatest albums to grace the vinyl needle. I would love to find a copy of the Soundstage show from Chicago..since it's PBS the citizen's should own it.

  • Get the title right ....pleeeeeeze!

  • mythical concert at rockpalast in essen, GP & the rumours were there as warmers to the police, but the claerly stole the show !!

  • This guy came out the same time as Elvis Costello, and yet few know who he is. I don't get it.

  • @JimCimEntertainment Yes, I love Elvis, but Graham is a better singer, and his 70s stuff is better.

  • What a combination of tension, lyrics, and singing. Add in a world class set of guitar solos by Brinsley, and you have a classic.

This is the song that got me into Graham Parker. I saw them play it on Soundstage, a PBS program from Chicago back in 1977.

  • real good song with feeling and originality]

  • Never heard this version before, very cool, thanks for posting

  • Never heard of him before, but heard him on a classic rock radio show. Forgotten...unfairly.

  • 1200 views, 2 (now three) comments for this chilling, angry masterpiece.

And Britney gets a million hits every time she shakes her patootie.

  • @andyboerger LOL

  • Graham Parker is a poet. The band is one of the best in rock.

    Mmmousemaid
