You must not know manziels style to well, he scrambles whether he has a pocket or not. although he did get a little better at staying in the pocket throughout the year. He had a hell of a line, but you probably dont know that. They were blocking the 5a state champions d-line
@6abcddcba hell of a line is way of an overstatement. Tivy had a pretty bad o-line, hence the scrambles. In this video, steele was only rushing 3 men, which was why he wasn't feeling pressure.
lol I guess both teams said "to hell with defense" looked like he was a fun game to watch, those are some SICK numbers by Manziel and especially Brown
Watch from the 2:20 - 2:25 marks and look for Steele's defensive lineman #79. He's the one at the bottom left of your screen. Someone please tell me what in the fuck is he doing????
The best HS football game I've ever attended, and I've seen some good ones. I knew it would be before I even got there. That's why we drove up from San Antonio to watch two schools for which we had no prior allegiance. Manziel is a jock and Brown is a beast. Both were men among boys. Astonishing. Talked to Malcolm's dad briefly as well. Very humble and gracious toward the Antlers - and awfully proud of his son. Justifiably so. My best to both players and both schools.
@Trumpetz811 He had all day because they were only rushing 3 at Manziel, the Steele Definsive Coordinator should be fired for that bright idea LOL, so nine guys were gaurding the pass and still got torched for 400 or 500 passing yards
@alexrgs1 Are you kidding me alexrgs1, anyone who knows football can see clearly that Manziel is lightyears ahead of everyone on that field, and thats what it takes to play at the next level, a brain for the game and he has the skills too, I'll put it this way, if they were to switch teams, manziel will still get the win and malcolm will get some yards and some touchdowns but he would not get the win just like he didn't get it the first time...
@Comag65 Why play in hot box Texas when you can play in beautiful Oregon? I've lived in Texas my entire life so that's not a slam but if he has the chance to play college ball for somebody in a nice part of the world why not jump on it?
@bptaylor11 It's not about Texas vs Oregon it's about Austin vs Eugene. On one side you have Austin, voted by most every publication on the market to be top 5 best places to live in our Country. On the other side you have Eugene, a shithole, in the shadow of Portland, a bigger shithole. If you like racists hippie fairs and poser football you move to Eugene and play for Oregon. If you like Championship football, gorgeous women, unrivaled BBQ and great night life, you move to Austin and play at UT
@FedEx53 Maybe so, but he is not going to have the chance to play in Austin or at UT. Choosing between College Station and Eugene instead. A no brainer for anyone that's not born into the Aggie mentality.
@bptaylor11 Ya, unless he doesn't mind a position switch, he won't play at UT. So I'll go with Eugene vs College Station. Honestly this is a toss up. Pretty evenly suck. And as bad as the ags and college station are, I'd still put them above Eugene and oregon as a whole. Texas Economy is in great shape and was the only State basically to not feel the pain of that recession that the rest of the country talks about. Advantage : aggy but dont get me wrong, please take him, i dont want to face him
@FedEx53 He won't play any position at UT because they aren't offering. They only have a spot left for Rasco out of Shreveport or possibly Aaron Green out of San Antonio.
I don't know what your personal beef is with Oregon but it seems like a pretty nice place to me and it sure beats College Station as a home.
@bptaylor11 My beef with Oregon is that right after Blount punched that guy from Boise, their coach let him back on the team. His football days should have been over.
Bigger issue here is, please tell me what #79 on Steele's Defense is doing at the 2:20 - 2:25 mark of this video?
@bptaylor11 No. That's my beef with Oregon. That's what you asked. You didn't ask me why I thought Eugene and Portland are shitholes. To answer that, because they are! There is absolutely nothing to do in Eugene, Oregon. Who the fuck would want to live in a cold rainy town with nothing to do but attend hippie festivals? People out there are losing their homes because the economy is shit, and Portland is full of crime. I guess if you're a lazy pothead thug then playing in Oregon might be cool???
@bptaylor11 I don't know a single person from Austin, TX that's lost their home due to the economy.. Aside from your normal low income families there hasn't been much of a hit to the economy in Texas, especially Austin. That's why people are flocking down here. Austin is on the map as a top 5 city nationwide and life couldn't be better down here bro, I dare you to bring the family down for a week or 2 and tell me you don't want to move here!
@FedEx53 I live in Austin, dude. Lots of foreclosed homes here and I would know because I have been in real estate for a long time.
The economy is better here than a lot of places but it's not as good as it could be obviously.
I still don't know what the economy has to do with college football or where a kid wants to play. Doesn't matter because Manziel is apparently not going to play in Oregon anyway.
@bptaylor11 Johnny is staying here in texas because it would cost his parents an arm and a leg to go watch him play in Oregon. Its easier on them if he stays here
@bodocious51 Yes, of course it is easier to stay near home on everybody. But, people from all over the country are heading far away to go to school and they have the same issues.
Just saying I wish he would go to Oregon but I have no say in the matter.
Someone Needs To Do His Senior Highlights. Just Saying.
