He first says that free form AA's are ineffective, then goes on to say how adding leucine to a protein shake has proven to increases the rate of protein synthesis. Its little things like this that turn me off to this company every time I think about trying their supplements.
@steelers14101 Leunox is NOT a free form amino acid. it is a hydrolyzed protein. Its contains all peptides and no free form amino acids. Yes I think L-Leucine (free form amino acids) are for the most part ineffective. Leucine peptides on the other hand are not. Our Leunox is actually a hydrolyzed whey isolate that is 50% Leucine. Leucine is one of the BCAA, the building block of muscle. So adding Leunox is really a no brainer. Not only are you getting a hydrolyzed whey isolate
@sawboy2 I have had great success with buying bulk supplements from nutraplanet. I just picked up a 5 pound tub of ultimate nutrition 100% whey protein for 34 bucks. As a broke grad student, I'll sacrifice "some" quality so I don't have to get nailed with the high shipping costs of protein factory.
@steelers14101 uhhh yea, I thought we were talking about Leucine....seems to me you've now just want to slander my company. exactly what I thought..good luck with that protein you bought. as far as shipping goes, we bill exactly what UPS is billing and with the high cost of gas right now the shipping costs are going up.
@sawboy2 I don't think it is fair for you to say that free form AA's are ineffective. All studies that I have seen that prove leucine's effectiveness have been done on L-leucine. I'm sure the leucine peptides are more effective, however, you can't deem L-leucine all out ineffective when there are studies that prove its effectiveness. Also, if you feel so strongly that free form AA's are ineffective, why continue to sell them to your customers?
does it have any soy or soy lecithin. I am allergic to soy or any soy lecithin. Please tell me this product contains no soy... or else i feel its not for me.
