The 6.4's are piles of crap. The Cummins and the Duramaxes are the best diesel engines out there; the Cummins best overall and the Duramax best for the V-8's. The Duramax however puts out more horsepower and torque than Cummins or the 6.4 Navistar-Powerstroke.

It would stick you in the seat hard and chirped all the way into 6th, thats pretty impressive to have a duel chirping the tires with an automatic like that, diesel power just crushes all others.

I don't know why Ford doesnt come up with a new engine, the Powerstroke is an old, ancient design.

He has to have the DPF on there, if its gone the engine will not run. As goes with big trucks, light comes on your must regenerate, if you dont it within 6 hours it will SHUT OFF, you can NOT restart and it will require a TOW, taking the DPF off oh man you are fucked, thats a $5,000.00 part at least right there. Not a big Powerstroke fan, loud, gas guzzling you get better power from a Cummins and better fuel mileage.
Actually I don't have the DPF or cat on there. Regen is shut off through custom programming. This video is old and the truck doesnt even look that any more....the truck won't shut off after 6 hours, I drove it for 2 months with it stuck in regen. The part isn't $5K its only $2300, get your shit right....oh and its puttin' down over 500HP 900TQ and getting 20+MPG so go get whatever Cummins you want and we'll run'em

If it was nothing like the rest then they would have gone with an inline 6 or inline 4 cylinder that gets better fuel mileage and is easier to work with.

He has to have the DPF on there, if its gone the engine will not run. As goes with big trucks, light comes on your must regenerate, if you dont it within 6 hours it will SHUT OFF, you can NOT restart and it will require a TOW, taking the DPF off oh man you are fucked, thats a $5,000.00 part at least right there. Not a big Powerstroke fan, loud, gas guzzling you get better power from a Cummins and better fuel mileage.

Actually I don't have the DPF or cat on there. Regen is shut off through custom programming. This video is old and the truck doesnt even look that any more....the truck won't shut off after 6 hours, I drove it for 2 months with it stuck in regen. The part isn't $5K its only $2300, get your shit right....oh and its puttin' down over 500HP 900TQ and getting 20+MPG so go get whatever Cummins you want and we'll run'em

My ass, you and your Powerjoke of a motor, 20 MPG, bwahaaha! I feel sorry being a Ford tech. No way you get 20, you probably get 8 MPG if your lucky! Good luck getting any warranty work done on your truck, your going to need it!

There have been many who have followed in my foot steps check out some of the forums on the internet, you'll find the truck out there along with the fact that everything that I've said and done is true and it works.....oh and being a lube tech at a dealership doesn't count as a being a real tech....pull your head out of your ass

I've gotta '08 F250 6.4 liter twin turbo diesel. Sct programmer, banks dual exhaust (removed dpf)& intake w/a fabtech 6 inch lift. I smack cummins around all day long AND get 14-16 mpg with 35" tires highway. I'm a fan and I luv my Ford!

Not bad, who wants to help me get a ford? I have been wanting a ford for about 9 years now. I cant wait until i have a powerstroke in my drive way. If anyone hears of antying let me know. RIght now i am looking for anything around 10-15 with ex cab and under 150k Black is always a plus. Would be really cool if someone that wants to make a college kid happy n buy one. haha Or i would be more than happy to have your truck. FORD FOR LIFE

How are you keeping the truck from entering the regeneration mode all of the time with the dpf gone?...What steps did you take to fix the ecu codes/issues.....I have a SCT livewire unit and they still have not found away around it yet......

Edge Juice with attitude for 6.7, DMAX and 6.4 has regeneration on and off, not sure if its available yet. Look in DieselPower mag.

hey man, i have an 08 F-250. I have a superchip and 5 inch DPF back exhaust. I have contacted KEM, but they will not respond to my email. What did u pay for this system, and will a superchip work? Also, does it make the truck a lot louder than stock or not really. Mine is not much louder than stock and i took out the resonator

Yes very.....but not so much motor wise, but the turbo is loud as hell, it sounds like jet engine more than anything
