  • 0:15 "Orange Crush" anyone?

  • I hate this game XD

  • Was there a savegame option? What i remember only is the first three levels. I played that soooo much. Only once i left the game running for a few days so i could beat it.

  • @radeqster In this version you can save and load your games from the last checkpoint but I'm not sure if that also was in the older version. This is a recompiled version from 2006. This was done by the original programmer Maciej Miasik especially for dosbox.

  • I used to have a shareware disc with a pre-Epic version of this game called Electro Body, with weird foreign language intro credits.

  • This game reminded me of the Windows 3.1 game Micro Man.

  • Nooooo I remember this game xD

  • I remember I used to jump over the second checkpoint thingy so I wouldnt loose weapons and just breeze through that part of the game. Good times.

  • It is curious how Jacet becoming a cyborg does not appear to have given him any abilities at all above those of an ordinary man. Was he wheelchair bound before?

  • I spent many hours on this game. It always bugged me that there was no music though. I might be wrong, but I think the way they did the audio was already pushing the envelope at the time. So they weren't able to have music playing at the same time.

They were even able to have these sound effects play out of the PC speaker which was almost unheard of, as technically the PC speaker could only handle chiptunes.

  • how to enter cheat codes for this game

    could someone tell me please

  • You make it look so damn easy... And it took me years to finish the level 1 (and demo)... :P

  • I remember how my mom actually bought this game on a floppy disk. Ahh memories. I remember this game by the sounds and everything being square!

  • the music and sound effects especially for those years is just awesome! remember when got to third level was going nuts trying to complete it o-O ahh old good times :(

  • DOS rulez ;D

  • i remember playing this game when i was 6... so long ago, now im sitting in front of a ps3 an a pc.

  • @ShimmyDigg Same

  • to jest kapitan bomba tempe h u j e xDDD

  • Samples from Front 242 can be heard at game events, it was the group who invented Electronic Body Music, hence the name. :-)

  • What songs does it sample?

  • I'm stuck on lvl 3. Its INSANITY

  • electric body is an alternative title for electro man. so there.

  • Hold on a second... is'nt this called Electro Body? Haha not criticizing.. but this game was a classic that a played when i was about 6 or 7... What a great game.

  • I was playing Electro Man in my night class tonight. Much more interesting that international relations theory.

  • This brings back soo many great memories of my childhood, it was THE game before my playstation!! :D Anyone know where i can get it for pc?, we lost it years ago i'm craving it... :P

  • damnnn it seems we have so much in common, yea ten years ago! Damn this guy is so hard to paly

  • Same as Anticionista88. I played it about 10 years ago, but it was called Electro Body, not Electro Man.

  • I loved this game SOOO much. Sadly though, whenever I try to play it today, it freezes on the start-up screen. You think Dos-Box might run it?

  • I'm sure you can play it with Dosbox.

  • lol I can remember this game rocked on pc speaker! I didn't have a soundcard yet!

  • Lol! Dude walks kinda funny.

  • I like the sound his feet make. =)

  • Oh man, Electroman! Haha, so many memories coming back! I remember that during the intro screen you could mash the arrow keys in a circular motion (left up right down and so on) to get some sort of secret level that I never managed to beat (shareware version).

Thank you SO much for uploading this video! :-)

  • yes indeed i also played it like 10 years ago and it called electro body but where/how can i download games like this now? i got windows home edition

  • I heard that Electro Body was made by Polish programmers.

  • that's correct. i'm actually surprised that it was apparently played abroad too.

  • I played it 10 years ago, but it was called Electro Body, not Electro Man.
