Was there a savegame option? What i remember only is the first three levels. I played that soooo much. Only once i left the game running for a few days so i could beat it.
@radeqster In this version you can save and load your games from the last checkpoint but I'm not sure if that also was in the older version. This is a recompiled version from 2006. This was done by the original programmer Maciej Miasik especially for dosbox.
It is curious how Jacet becoming a cyborg does not appear to have given him any abilities at all above those of an ordinary man. Was he wheelchair bound before?
I spent many hours on this game. It always bugged me that there was no music though. I might be wrong, but I think the way they did the audio was already pushing the envelope at the time. So they weren't able to have music playing at the same time.
They were even able to have these sound effects play out of the PC speaker which was almost unheard of, as technically the PC speaker could only handle chiptunes.
the music and sound effects especially for those years is just awesome! remember when got to third level was going nuts trying to complete it o-O ahh old good times :(
Hold on a second... is'nt this called Electro Body? Haha not criticizing.. but this game was a classic that a played when i was about 6 or 7... What a great game.
This brings back soo many great memories of my childhood, it was THE game before my playstation!! :D Anyone know where i can get it for pc?, we lost it years ago i'm craving it... :P
Oh man, Electroman! Haha, so many memories coming back! I remember that during the intro screen you could mash the arrow keys in a circular motion (left up right down and so on) to get some sort of secret level that I never managed to beat (shareware version).
0:15 "Orange Crush" anyone?

I used to have a shareware disc with a pre-Epic version of this game called Electro Body, with weird foreign language intro credits.

I remember I used to jump over the second checkpoint thingy so I wouldnt loose weapons and just breeze through that part of the game. Good times.

Samples from Front 242 can be heard at game events, it was the group who invented Electronic Body Music, hence the name. :-)

Same as Anticionista88. I played it about 10 years ago, but it was called Electro Body, not Electro Man.

I loved this game SOOO much. Sadly though, whenever I try to play it today, it freezes on the start-up screen. You think Dos-Box might run it?
Wolfman12395 3 years ago
I'm sure you can play it with Dosbox.

I heard that Electro Body was made by Polish programmers.

that's correct. i'm actually surprised that it was apparently played abroad too.
