GTA Vice City did a better job at Scarface + other 80s movies than the offical Scarface game. Mafia did a better job at Godfather than the official Godfather games (although better than Scarface games).

no fuckin way!! MOST of the games made after movies are very good. for example: The Godfather 1 and 2; Scarface; Spiderman series; Reservoir Dogs; and alot more. do some more research buddy. MOST of the games made after movies did really good.

@loves2spooge144026 Actually out of the ones you mention they are all horrible. Except The Godfather 1 and Spiderman 2 were decent. The only good games based on Movies were King Kong and Chronicles of Riddick. I think your the one that should do some research.

this is one of the best movies of all time, but no doubt the game sucks. the thing that makes the movie so is that we dont know what happen...our creativity and imagination can take us anywhere with that. Tarantino is a friggen god.

Acei.. I think the Vice City bank robbery was from the movie HEAT. The hockey masks were a direct nod to the first heist of that movie. But I agree.. GTA would be nothing without the great crime movies written before it. Reservoir Dogs being one of if not THE best of them all. It's game could never be pointless.. just hope it is worthy of the name. Same character and writing as the movie would be awesome
