la da da da da daaAaAaAah. this song is so awesome. i can't believe this. she gives me confidence. she makes me proud. hah she doesnt know i exist. to have such a power over time and minds.
yes a beautiful song and reminds me to of the 70s when i was in Paris. Park sleeping, wine drinking, cheese and bread scoffing. God I wish it was so simple now thak you Buffy
I use to dream of you falling asleep in my arms Jeff I didn't care about the wheel chair I just wanted to take care of you. I always thought about you with this song. I hope you're happy what ever you're doing these days. Semper Fi lv Wen D.
Buffy provided a very romantic atmosphere to myself and my girl at the time. I think our favorite was the " Guess who I saw in paris" song. Those were our 70`s time while in college. My tape of "The very best of Buffy St. Marie" has long since worn out, and UTube is such a godsend. I am now 64. Early 20`s then!
I love how native americans have such a delicious quiver to their voice, like Buffy, Elvis, Johnny Cash. Such a nice, deep, rich timber too. Hahah I am prous to be part Native tooo :)
One of my favorite albums of Buffy's-the other one being Moonshot. Other favorites from Illuminations are "Keeper of the Fire," "Honey," "Better To Find Out For Yourself," and "Adam" which I can listen to 2 or 3x's in a row.
Regrettably don't need one to listen to the political stuff either--You want to write a manifesto, go learn how to write one from someone who knows how
Becky turned me on to this song. I loved her in the 70's and think of her when I hear
Buffy Sainte-Marie. Becky and Buffy---both lovely, sexy, beautiful women.

I remember this song from way back in 1969.
It was sometimes played on a special "underground music show" on WHOT Radio out of Youngstown, Ohio.
I loved the song then.
I love it now.
Very special.

If the political stuff leaves you cold, go listen to Wayne Newton. You won't need a brain.
