  • Becky turned me on to this song. I loved her in the 70's and think of her when I hear

Buffy Sainte-Marie. Becky and Buffy---both lovely, sexy, beautiful women.

  • when I was in candian history class in high school I was flipping through the text and I found a page about buffy st marie.

  • @axlroseislegend Also include on that list Norma Tanega.

  • yes a beautiful song and reminds me to of the 70s when i was in Paris. Park sleeping, wine drinking, cheese and bread scoffing. God I wish it was so simple now thak you Buffy

  • I get so melancholic with this song, that it is frightening...

  • @MultiHoptop Me too

  • I use to dream of you falling asleep in my arms Jeff I didn't care about the wheel chair I just wanted to take care of you. I always thought about you with this song. I hope you're happy what ever you're doing these days. Semper Fi lv Wen D.

  • This Lady is growing on me! I like her music, but she was not on my radar years ago, so I hope to make up make up for it now.

    Thanks for the video.

  • Buffy provided a very romantic atmosphere to myself and my girl at the time. I think our favorite was the " Guess who I saw in paris" song. Those were our 70`s time while in college. My tape of "The very best of Buffy St. Marie" has long since worn out, and UTube is such a godsend. I am now 64. Early 20`s then!

  • The sweetest of songs that takes me back to my youth in the early 1970s.

  • This is such a lovely song!

  • starwawlket hes a friiend of mine

  • about meeting jim morrisson how cool xxx

  • I love how native americans have such a delicious quiver to their voice, like Buffy, Elvis, Johnny Cash. Such a nice, deep, rich timber too. Hahah I am prous to be part Native tooo :)

  • My favourite line in this song: Guess who got spaced with him, played his guitar... . Perfect.

  • I like...with his thumbs hooked in his belt, looking all a seventeen...so sweet and sexy...

  • YES! One of my favourite songs...so unassuming and blissfull...but less is more...thanks!!!

  • One of my favorite albums of Buffy's-the other one being Moonshot. Other favorites from Illuminations are "Keeper of the Fire," "Honey," "Better To Find Out For Yourself," and "Adam" which I can listen to 2 or 3x's in a row.

  • I remember this song from way back in 1969.

It was sometimes played on a special "underground music show" on WHOT Radio out of Youngstown, Ohio.

    I loved the song then.

    I love it now.

    Very special.

  • If the political stuff leaves you cold, go listen to Wayne Newton. You won't need a brain.

  • Regrettably don't need one to listen to the political stuff either--You want to write a manifesto, go learn how to write one from someone who knows how

  • @grundoon51 You seem not to be like me at all either

  • This was always my favorite song of hers--the political stuff leaves me completely cold
