Things in the south happen a little slower, one of my favorite vacations was when I went to Myrtle beach everyone was so friendly and nice...not at all how most people are up here

Yes, we do things a bit slower (not rushed), we speak with a "twang" (they say mine is quite thick, but I can't hear it...haha), and we don't know how to drive in snow/ice! :)
