@ceasar1120 its not a Fable this is the original vampyrism , its understood as spirituality and ceremonial magic it is dark because we come from a dark way of life. the term Vamp"i"re is the fictional term the original Spiritual term is Vamp'y're.
Why no one mentioned the first vampire? The word "vampire" is a serbian word! And the first vampire was from Serbia.Everyone knows for Vlad Tepes, and Erzsébet Báthory, how many peoples actualy knows where did lived and died the first vampire? Anyway,it is interesting how many people go to extremes.
@kikibOmbOn1 There is no record in the archives of history announcing a "first" vampire was from Serbia. If you have proof of documentation, then bring it forward. The term "vampire" is recorded worldwide, not just in Serbia.
@Soulshroude Read Etymology.I agree and I know they are recorded worldwide.I wanted to say that first recorded cases were in Serbia, but I was too drunk to explain. Two famous vampire cases, the first to be officially recorded, involved the corpses of Peter Plogojowitz and Arnold Paole from Serbia.
@kikibOmbOn1 I know the Etymology very well. But that still doesn't prove anything regarding the origin of vampires. Those two cases have little to do with folklore and everything to do with murder trials of two proclaimed "vampires". They were far from immortal as folklore dictates. I can name several other cases involving vampirism over the course of centuries in countries throughout the world. But they don't establish the origin of the vampire archtype.
@Soulshroude And if you want to go back to the origins, vampirism appeared as early as in ancient egyptian culture, for example. It's very difficult to date the origin of vampirism. But it certainly evolved into something social, even though these vampires say that they are not accepted by the society. But let's be honest, apart from the ceremonial scenery, this is no more than some S&M club. I prefer Michele Belanger who has a cultural understanding of vampirism and is much more believable.
@Soulshroude the proper understanding of the term Immortal/Immortality means - to be born with power to be born gifted, doesnt necessarily mean living forever, but the definition to that subject of Eternity is to be reborn into another life that is why the Ankh symbol is a Vampyric symbol which is highly worn by many Vampyre households/clans from all around the world, from Sanguine Vamps to psychic Vamps pranics/Empathics along with otherkin species mixed with Vamp breeds.
@lordabortion713 Your preaching to the wrong individual, I am afraid. preach to someone who isn't aware of the practice. You really do post as though you are in some sort of cult. Try to understand first as to why the spelling of vamp is with a Y instead of an I, and I mean the true meaning. Not that psycho babble your spouting. Just how long have you been what you think you are? I am not convinced that you are what you are connotating yourself to being.
@Soulshroude yeah because the first vampire or how ever you say it was not from europe they were from the east the middle east like sumeria. and they drank blood and ate flesh and a real vampire whould be old and"ugly"to your standards 1,000,000 years old around that number. and they definitly whouldnt look like the people in this movie or any movie.a real vampire would be so evolutionarily divergant from modern man.
@kikibOmbOn1 Vampyres are descended from Lilith, Queen of the Night , Dark Goddess, Mother to Demons, Vampyres, Sex magick, Harlotry, Equality , Freedom of Sexuality, and choice! its not about People going to the extremes the correction to that saying is a Vampyre is a spiritual being who is spiritually awakened to his/her own nature who knows the vampyric traits that match their character/nature!
@lordabortion713 Keep telling yourself that, what ever diluted perceptions you have regarding the origin of the vamp, more power to you. White Wolf did a fantastic job convincing people of that same concept. Try researching the Annunaki and the Book of Enoch for an answer with better continuity before venturing into roleplay land.
@lordabortion71 I will give credit for that, yes they were related. But only by marriage: The Bathory clan was related, albeit distantly, by marriage to the infamous Vlad Tepes, aka Vlad the Impaler. The commander of the expedition that helped Vlad regain his throne in 1476 was Prince Steven Báthory, Elizabeth's cousin. A fief of Vlad, Castle Fagaras, became a Báthory possession during Elizabeth's life. Both families sported a dragon on their crests.
