Dude, who cares which is faster, they are both family cars and in that case the camry is better and lasts longer. For price, value, and looks then the sonata is better but nobody looking to buy one of these is concerned about performance that much. If the new sonata is slightly faster than the camry it really isnt a huge deal cause these are not performance cars anyway.
First of all, this race makes no sense. Both are sedans, not design to "race". Second, are both cars sold in USA? Camry and Sonata are made significantly different depends on the regions of the market on earth. By that means USA market demands better safety, power train system, and handling. All those effects the performance of both cars.
So, this vid is just fun but not really scientifically significant. Both are great cars and both are winners, well, at least in US.
