Well, the dispatchers and the train drivers on the line on which most of this video is shot certainly earn their paychecks, what with having to get all those trains past each other on a single-track line. Even with the numerous passing sidings, it must require precise timekeeping and quick responses to keep things running smoothly.
Ummm, I think he needs to cross the field of view so that he can look out the window on the right side of the driver's compartment so that he can be sure everyone has entered or exited before he closes the doors.
