this is a good technique but when i do this handwriting effect, i use a mask layer. the word is on the mask layer and on the layer underneath it, i shade a bit each frame. this way i dont have to reverse it when i'm done.

hey you can go to flashkit dot com and download any font you want, its a free directory, download the zip file, then unzip it if youll have a *TTF file

-On a mac, double click the *TTF file then done.

-if you have a PC :-S double click on the *TTF file then done and after that copy it to the folder Fonts

youll find this folder at -Control Panel- Fonts.... thats it, restart flash

F6 is faster for make n a Key Fram

That's a very good point. Pressing F6 is a much quicker way of inserting a keyframe and drastically speeds up the process of erasing the letters in your word.
