This game is sick. My only problem is this game makes you want to throw your controller or punch a hole in the wall sometimes. That being said, I do love the game, especially the blood and body parts all over the place. I plug my hdmi cord into my Xbox 360 that supports 1080p and my tv is a 1080p HDTV with game mode, so I get the excellent graphics from this game.

I wonder if this is a mission from mission mode we are watching here, cuz wolves would have attacked him normally....

@RogueNoise honestly I find ninja blade harder. I thnk that's mainly due to it having sort of unavoidable enemies to an extent and an all around non-precise gameplay style, more similar to God of War than Ninja Gaiden. Granted i've played tons more of NG,,,,

This is for the 360. The PS3 version looks nicer but they eliminated the blood spray and some polygons to compensate for higher resolution (580p vs 720p for the PS3) as a trade-off to maintain a constant framerate. Disembodied limbs will also disappear from the ground quicker than the 360 version.

The games don't have a very large connection. Trust me, most of the games aren't about story. I would recommend Ninja Gaiden only if you want a good challenge. Most of the games, if not all, are really tough and commend dedication. It's a brutal blast to play, once you learn the basics of it. Get either Ninja Gaiden Black for Xbox or Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3 to start out, if you're not ready for the challenge.

@XpurplephantomX It's like with Conker for Xbox. It looks better than the original for the N64 but the original is still better for it's charming multiplayer and uncut profanity. Sigma 2 looks better but has dumber and lesser enemies onscreen, less gore, less projectile weapons and no charge function for the remaining ones. Better looks does not equal better game, nor awesome.

@kungfurox1 Ninja Gaiden is the most action pact, intensive game Ive ever played. The acrobatics and the true feeling of taking your anger out on those freaking enemies is beyond amazing! The weapons and flash moves will blow you away. Not to mention Ryu Hayabusa is the kooooolest hero ever!

However the story of Ninja Gaiden 2 is quite... erm dont know the word.. Obvious?

The only thing that fails in this game is the fact that it it too linear i mean it could have been a bit better if you could actually select the level you want to play and not no to pass the game over and over and over. Even when you completed master ninja mode it is not the same thing let's hope that ninja gaiden 3 has a mission or level select.

Considering that I've played all the DMC games not counting the crap for mobile phones, and Ninja Gaiden 2 I've come to the conclusion that they are similar to King of Fighters and Street Fighter in the fact that one game focuses on skill and the other focuses on style.
