Yes the original "SATC" show title had similar visual - Manhattan shot from Brooklyn BUT with the bridge overhead in the skyline, AND the WTC in the background. They relocated perspective a bit.

And SJParker's original title card was FULL ON the two WTC buildings with time-lapse shadow drawing over it. Replaced with a shot of Empire State that doesn't symbolize her character .

So we lost two of the most striking visuals, for blander ones. Cynthia Nixon's title card is now the best.

They changed the building arrangement ... this isnt the original one. the original one had parts with the twin towers in it. they should have left the twin tower shots in it i feel like its disrespectful to take them out

@wasupbigchief I used to agree before I watched this show, but this show can describe exactly what happens in a woman's thoughts and soul. There is nothing to describe better situations between couples and phases of people. I have lived exactly most of the things that happen to these women in this show,and I did a long timee before I start watching it. I damn love it.

Hexx(my reply #2) When the emply bus pops up @ the end she is looking away with an expression of shock or no interest @ all. This end frame shows a big empty white bus(phallus symbol) with a 20/30yr old white guy in tight shirt with stem all around. Meaning she has hot sex with young white guys who don't really have other women N thr lives; but she is looking away bcause they R not really who she wants. Da title is SEX N CITY. The rest of intro should be able to read as easy as 123 ABC now.

Hexxle (my reply: # 1) the empty bus is symbolising. Before I answer that I should say the first fully pack & moving "Big" white bus is a phallus symbol, symbolising Mr. BIG. He always on the move & have a full plate of women in his life & he never really treats Carrie as the "One" he wants to marry. The water splashing on her symbolize Mr. Big semen. She looks up and gets mad @ the bus(Mr. B) for doing its thing & moving on with the rest of the girls on his plate.
