the PS3 and xbox are both dead due to "casual gamers". as the majority of (we'll call them CG's) are on a xbox, wii or ps3 as they dont have to think about "complicated" things like graphics cards as they would on a pc. and as CG's dont care about graphics companies will realize that they can make more money spend less on development. therefore the release of games like KZ2 or GOW2 which have high detail, slows on the xbox and ps3.

Very few games exist that can graphically and game play wise blow KZ2 and MGS4 out of the water. The Crysis Series I'm sure is the only one. Besides that won't mean much soon anyway because PS3 will have CryTek games on it soon. They've been testing it out on both systems and the XBOX ans PS3 can handle it so far.

bioshock2 is coming out on the ps3 first, and xbox is getting the dumbed down version of ff13 after it is released for the ps3..ff13 will use close to 100% of the ps3's power and will be on one disc, maybe doublelayered bluray, alot of the content on ps3 version will not be on the xbox version, not to mention, the game will require 5-10 discs for the xbox
