I thought I was the master of Super Mario. Till now... I played this game from start to finishe at least 50 times and enjoyed it every time. But this is insane!! I was especially impressed and even laughing out loud at how he nailed the final boss... and the way he circled around the block evading the fire balls. That was hilarious!! It's been years since I played it but still have the game and the original handheld. It brings so many memories back. Thanks for uploading mate! Cheers!

@SanxCatxNaru4ewa There was no cheating involved, but you should note that this is a Tool Assisted Speedrun. The hitbox detections is awful in this game. You are able to jump on the flowers the way that was done in this run, without dying.

@999alex9991 It means what it says. When you record a TAS, you slow down the game as much as possible through an emulator. Most games are running at 60 frames/second. For each frame in the game, you choose what input to be made.

During the process you constantly use save states to fix errors you make.

In the end you'll have a movie which only include pure input that is added to the game. If this input would have been used on console, it would get the same result.

This TAS isn't using any hacking or cheat codes and it all works the exact same on the emulator as it does on console.

Cheats are NOT part of this. All cheats are banned in TASes and it's also impossible to cheat (Without anyone finding out) as long as you provide the emulator movie file, which can be found on the website TASvideos for this specific movie.
