  • Darn I just want to see their work without the BBC voice over.

  • Dear Mr.JTR, Me Too! I've also enjoyed the comedy of all three teams and they influenced me as a performer and a writer..Please don't ask who am I? I prefer to remain..unknown.

  • Laurel and Hardy, Three Stooges, Abbot and Costello movies all made a HUGE impact on me as a little kid and helped form my sense of humor. I would mimic them in how I interacted with my parents, especially my father. My father had a sense of humor but dealing with me, he seemed to forget it. He would yell at me and I'd come up with something that I saw in these films. It usually infuriated him but would make other people laugh.

  • The year regarding "Lucky Dog" is NOT 1921,it`s 1917.

  • The one who paid Mae Dahlberg to leave Stan alone and to return to Austraillia and not come back and attemp to ruin his career was movie comedy producer:Joe Rock. It's too bad that he didn't have her sign an agreement..because she came back to the USA in 1936 to ruin him.

  • Mr.Malcom's commentary is the only thing about this show that I can't

    tolerate.

  • Unfortuneatly..Mae Dahlberg returned to The USA in 1936 to sue Poor Stan for divorce as his common law wife. She took tremendous advantage of the poor little man..

and she showed no sympahy..until she died many years later.IMHO she doesn't deserve any sympahy at all!

  • Was that cartoonist and comedy writer turned unsuccessful

movie comic Larry Semon climbing up those steps with Stan in that scene?

  • Pretty sure it is, yes.
