Lol the only way I can take down a heli without rockets is MK3A1 Frag ammo, I killed the two pilots of a scout heli using this, make sure they are hovering trying to cap a flag, I stole the Little-Bird by doing this.

Couple of those were lucky shots, but most of those were skills honed from hours of being grieved by children who cry about campers, pricks who hunt him down, and at the cost of many battles until learning the speed of his bullets, how far ahead to aim, and the distances from which to counter the pull of gravity. Skills like these are not natural, they are earned by properly sniping -- what the untrained eye would call camping. Sadly I can't stand still long enough to master it. Impressive.
