  • at the beginning everytime he takes those caps off it sounds like hes cocking a gun.

  • i live in westchester county,ny. about 1 hour north of manhattan nyc. can anybodytell me where to get methanol and KOH? please let me know. i just bought a biodiesel processor.

  • erroneous only 20% of energy used in usa is used for transportation. I appreciate you entusiasm for this technology but don't demonize what is not the source of energy use. the majority of energy is used to heat buildings (homes and other edifices), and hot water. making transportation and the light bulb not the evil they are being portrayed to be. they are just the easiest target being the low lying intellectual fruit they are.

  • No war required? GEEZ! I wanted to see what you had until I saw that crap. Give war a chance!

  • wow the guy talking does not know what he's talking about...........lol

  • Well I live in new jersey, I was looking for prices in the internet but prices for meth runs about $15 per gal. I also got the meth. on walmart (HEET you know the antifreeze) but the bottle cost 355ml = $1.30 soo with those prices there is not savings for me. does anybody knows a better place to get it cheaper? thanks upupaepops for replying.

  • You need to look around for "race shops", "speed shops", etc. Methanol is racing fuel, and many speed / race stores, drag strips, etc. carry it. They will generally sell it by the gallon, or by the 55 gallon drum. Don't know where in NJ you are, but these types of stores are pretty common around the country.

  • ok what is the deal? to make 50 gal of bio-d you need 10 gal of methanol plus potassium hidroxide. just methanol cost about $15.00 p/gal and here you need 10 gal of meth., that would be $150.00. at the end you get bio-d at $3.00 per gal. how much you get the methanol? or is it free?. and you just pay for the potas. hidrox. ? nmmmmmm I need some help with this.

  • Where are you located? Here in the US, methanol is very common at race shops. It's averaging a little over $4 US per gallon in small quantities (less in large bulk purchases). Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) runs about $65 US for a 55 pound bag. At those prices, assuming your waste oil is free, the finished product will cost you a little over $1 US per gallon.

  • Hi, does anyone knows where to get methanol for freeeeeeeeeeeee?????? if not, where is the savinggggg?

  • Hi guys i need help. to make 5 litters of biodiesel we need 1 litter of methanol which cost about $4.00 p/litter, plus potassium hidroxide $?. So, at the end you get about 11/2 gal of biodiesel for almost $5.00. question: who said to get biodiesel at $0.70 per gal. ? please tell me where to get a cheaper methanol

  • use recycled methanol I pay 1.65 per gal 98% pure

  • He totally messed up on where the methenol, sulfuric acid, and lye go into the machine, and he sells them for a living!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! what a dueche!! I just watched an 11 minute video from a web site for this machine, it looks great and i would love to have one for my diesel truck. $4.00/gallon is getting old fast!!!

  • Sodium hydroxide, not potassium

  • Could be one or the other. Potassium is just more expensive.

  • Man, if I win the lottary, I'm buying myself one of those!

  • bio diesel is a good thing, but electric cars are already here- but the battery technology has been bought out by big oil.

  • lol biodiesel is more "out there" than electric cars are. Biodiesel will work in any diesel car or truck

not to mention the damage to the environment making all that nickel for the batteries causes!!

  • Why do you need sulfuric acid? Nice device by the way.

  • The nice thing about the BioPro products is that they can process some really "bad" waste veg oils. They use a two-step process, the first of which is the esterification (or Acid) process where sulfuric acid attacks the free fatty acids and modifies them so that the methanol can attach and create the bioD. Then the transesterification stage (Base) stage takes place, making the bioD. This is why the BioPro products are so great.

  • how old is this video?

  • it was shot in october 2006, why?
