  • So can i get any radio that can tune into 145.800fm? Litterally ANY radio?

  • @tronlaser if it can do 145.8 FM, yes. You should be able to do this with a basic scanner from radio shack. Better antenna gives you a better result.

  • @jbyrns Hmm, any idea how much they cost? Im in the UK so we dont have Radio Shack over here :(

  • @tronlaser I dont need anything expensive, just somthing that i can plug into my computer or put my microphone up against.

  • @tronlaser I am not familiar with stores in the UK. However, most radio stores would have them. Possibly even a "Big Box" store. Ebay should have a lot. Try craigslist for a used one. I see that scanners are illegal/difficult to listen to in the UK, so scanners may not be common there. I'm sure there are ham stores out there somewhere.

  • hello what software used in this video 73` CE3VNA form chile

  • @colegioalcazar This was Ham Radio Deluxe

  • Can I do this with my handheld and the Arrow?

Is it as easy as connecting the audio from the radio to the computer's mic?

  • Yes. all you need is a radio that can do 145.800 fm. Hook up the audio to your pc and run the software. You can even place your computers mic on top of the speaker of your radio.

  • wtf is That???????

  • Thanks for the video, I managed to grab a couple of pics here too.

Can I ask what software it is that you use?

  • Thanks for the comment. The software I am using is from Ham Radio Deluxe. It is called DM780. It has many of the digital modes as well as SSTV.

The latest version interfaces with Google Earth. It lets you see Earth from the perspective of the satellite.

  • I've never used this function with HRD, I use MMSSTV for SSTV images. I'll give it a try though as it does look good.
