Your not sounding mean, but even so, there are more chances of something bad happening to a baby when you are a young mom then an older one. There might not be much bad happening now, but sometimes when they're older, something could happen. Not saying anything bad will, but if you want a healthier baby, it'd be best to do it over 18 (though I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose) plus girls that age aren't ready to be moms, and not all teenagers are good moms, not saying your friends won't be.

the baby cant get down syndrome from the mom drinking or doing drugs. down syndrome is a gentic disorder where you have an extra chromosone at the 21st pair. the mom carries this gene. seriously. everyone needs to learn what it is.

it could've been an accident, you didnt get pregnant because you either used protection, your infertile, or whenever you did it, you weren't ovulating. Because she's pregnant doesn't mean shes dumb (she could be in another sense)...however, chances are it was an accident, just like I was...not many pregnancies are planned...screw the age, age only matters when you want to bash someone, in reality, it means nothing, everyone would live, and everyone will die, so ppl shut up and live your own life

Your supposed to wait until your older, and more mature to have kids, when your 14 dont you still want to go out and hang with your friends and do all that, especially when your 16, and get a license and all. No sex is the best way to prevent a pregnancy, but like dolphins, we like to have sex, WHY? because it feels good and is healthy. Hey, at least it's better then 12, 18 is almost the age where you body is done developing and your in the right stage to have a baby. To me, anything under 18 for pregnancy is too young.

i wouldent say so because i have a sister that has a 2 year old he got preg. at 17 i have a friend that was 14 and got preg. and shes healthy and has a healthy baby and another friend thats 15 and has a health baby girl so it doesnt matter the age as long as they stay healthy and the baby is healthy <3 im not bing mean im just saying so please dont take this offancive dont know if thats spelled right but oh well <3

Your not sounding mean, but even so, there are more chances of something bad happening to a baby when you are a young mom then an older one. There might not be much bad happening now, but sometimes when they're older, something could happen. Not saying anything bad will, but if you want a healthier baby, it'd be best to do it over 18 (though I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose) plus girls that age aren't ready to be moms, and not all teenagers are good moms, not saying your friends won't be.

Actually, the cause for birth defects like down syndrome is not cause of age, but because the mothers don't take care of themselves and drink while their pregnant, the best age to have a baby is not just cause of age, but when your body is fully done developing, if it's not fully developed, there is a greater chance of premature birth.
