The whole 6 series line is just crap compared to the CL. Personally, I think the CL600 is the best one of the group but you can't go wrong with any CL. But PLEASE don't put aftermarket body kits or rims on the CL!!! It makes me sick to see these modified (ruined) CL's in places like Miami. Honestly, I don't think there's a real suitable competitor to the CL except MAYBE a Maserati Gan Turismo, I'd still take the Benz.

It is much better looking, both inside and out, is more powerful, and if you look at the sales numbers since 2007, the 6 series at least doubles the CL ever year. The CL is also around $35,000 more. I defiantly agree with the stupid aftermarket stuff, why would you take something good and just make it look like that. As far as the Maserati, I think you're the only person in the world who would take the CL over the Granturismo.

@TheCarVlogger The 6 series does NOT make as much power, at the time of this comment the Benz made 380 bhp +/- while the 6 made 360. The Benz also had more torque (391 lb vs 360). I think the 6 series is ugly but that's just preference (though most seem to agree) Today the Benz makes 429 bhp while the BMW makes roughly 400. I like that the CL doesn't sell in huge numbers, just how I like Quattroportes more than S Classes (if you were wondering, the Benz outsells Maserati)

1st of all the 6 series aint shit. i see it almost everyday. the cl550 is automatically a 6 figure car. if u gonna compare vehicles. use the m6 against the cl65. the cl series is equivalent to a bentley. just as rare. a cl600 is quicker than a bentley

This car is my favourite car, as well as the CLS. And I don't give a shit about how fast it is, I want to see luxury differences! I'm not gonna go "Oh, M6 is 2 seconds faster than the CL, so I'm gonna stick with the BMW!" I mean, what the hell? That's just funny.

I don't really understand why someone would compare the M6, which is essentially a highly tuned version of the 6-series to the CL550, their not natural rivals, even the 650i i wouldn't consider a rival to the CL due to the price difference. Audi can't mess with Mercedes? I think the S3/RS4/RS6/R8/TT/Le Mans speaks for itself. BMW build the best cars in the business, there's no point arguing it's just a simple fact, from a mechanical and engine point of view anyways.

what does 4matic mean? i am not sure but when it comes to the S class and the S class 4matic for some reason i think the S class 4matic is longer. i think the back doors in the 4matic are longer hence has more room in the back. So is that what 4matic is? the car is longer and more room?

4matic simply means it is all wheel drive, much like Audi's quatro system. This is great for those people whom live in areas with regular inclement weather...snow rain etc etc

i'd rather have this car or the cl 6.3 amg instead of any lamborghini, ferarri, or rollyce royce. In my opinion this car is the best. Those other 3 brands are just too good, too top of the line, unrealistic, rare. wouldn't want those anyways. But the CL is the best, i think.

I really like this car

Dreaming on, I would take this one instead of the M6, even though I'm some sort of a BMW maniac, coupe's main ingredient is the looks. The 6 series are not beautiful at all, look at the boot line, it looks like a deformed piece of metal, as if de designer had just sneezed while doing the final sketches.

Its a great car, dont get me wrong, but it does hae one or two aesthetic issues.
