  • I find it very sad that there are many people who forget who discovered this method in the first place. My original post was about the video, so lets agree to respect each others opinions then, as long as dogs are being helped thats all that really matters

  • I do not wish to get into a 'slanging match' as that would be unprofessional, I merely exercised my right to express an opinion. I could not agree more, that it is about helping dogs and their owners that should be the only reason and it is surely about quality not quantity. you say you are not a Jan Fennell dog listener and yet you are happy to take the Kudos to use her name (?) oh! and fyi real dog listeners are not narrow minded and do continue their learning, your comment WAS unprofessional.

  • DLs do excellent work (and it sounds like you are one yourself) - but it only goes so far in my opinion (which I am allowed to hold without being unprofessional). I don't use the name for kudos - in fact it has the opposite effect in many circles. It's on the certificate I was issued and paid for. I have learnt a lot more since that video. 'JF Dog Listener' is because there are others out there callling themselves DLs , nothing to do with JF. No slanging match intended - you started it! :-)

  • Thank you. Helping dogs and also helping owners who care about their dogs but just don't know what to do is my life. I guess you have dogs!

  • Hi Theo, yes I have dogs. I'm a Boxer lover from way back (45 yrs) and can't think what my life would be like without this powerful, playful breed. I volunteer for a Boxer Rescue group here in Canada. I've been helping folks who have dogs with issues, for many years. Not in a professional capacity, but just sharing my experience. Anyone who helps folks to better understand their dog is alright in my books! Thanks for all you do for the dogs! :o)

  • It's not a professional video, but it's a video offering to help people with dogs that are having issues. Anyone that's willing to give of their time and effort to help troubled canines has my vote!

Best to you Theo & much success!

  • regarding helping troubled canines I could not agree more!

  • All I can say is this is not a very professional video! Also not a great advert for the REAL Jan Fennell dog listeners!

  • I am not a Jan Fennell Dog Listener, real or otherwise. I am a person with years of experience with dogs, I have helped hundreds of clients and thousands of dogs. I have received various training (including Jan Fennell) and I am continuing to learn. REAL Dog Listeners are very narrow minded, and discourage further learning. So, I am an amateur so far as vidoe is concerned, but I am proud to be professional so far as dogs are concerend.
