@moparman240 Well... BREAKING NEWS (Jan 2012)... although Project Paradigm ultimately got shelved by Webley, the designer has teamed up with another gunmaker, improved it still further... and we could be seeing a reincarnation of this gun by mid-2012!
It is now august 2011, a long way from the sale date of march 2010....... where is it???? Rather get the fx independence..... much better technique, and it is in the shops.
@BigRooster747 See my reply to @moparman240. Due to all their previous problems, Webley's new UK agent, Highland Outdoors, decided to shelve the project.
Single stroke only ! what happens on very hot days when air is thin pressure will be low and give poor performance, colder the air the more you get in
should have a blow off valve fitted to compensate for air temp diffrences, that why a tank would be better,
But I like the idea if the gun is strong and reliable
Hopefully this will produce full power even in .177 calibre with light pelletes, say 7.9 grains? Some of the earlier signle stroke rifles tended to struggle a bit with such ammo. Hopefully the new accelerator system helps here.
Wear happens to pcp air rifles sooner or later. Its a fact of life, thats why good air rifle companys make replacement seals.
The good thing with single stroke is you dont have the expence of a refill bottle or pump. I for one am eager to see Paradigm on the market. Having already owned the Daystate Sportsman, Titan Mohawk and the Parker-Hale Dragon. I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one.
sooner or later these kind of valve are going to wear and fail and cause air leaks PCP`s are much more reliable and powerful but this has a very nice advantedge of not having to refill ur gun every few shots
Actually, the designers disagree with you! There are fewer O-rings in this set-up - and there's not only less pressure on them than a PCP's, but there's also hardly any movement on the parts that deploy them. The designer has also had this rifle running at 19ft/lb with the same type of cocking effort (although that required a modified internal set-up).
If I could find any full power songle stoke I would buy it.

@kardredren No. This was a prototype stock, anyway. It's fine on the production one.
