I Relly Want Legacy! Even With Most Of My O-Scale Trains Being Mth. It Would Be Cool To Have Legacy Because You Can Hook Up The Mth Track Intface Unit (TIU). With Legacy And Control Both Mth Trains And Lionel Trains Using A Cable From Mth.

Legacy won't run DCS locomotives. But if you have both Lionel's and MTH's control boxes, you can run both on the same track at the same time.

The MTH-to-Lionel cable allows you to connect the TIU to either a TMCC Command Base or Legacy base and run *basic* TMCC functions of Legacy locos with the DCS remote, (but it won't operate the advanced Legacy features).

Do you know any places where i can legacy cheap since I think I like it more the DCS. I actually have never ran a legacy engine but I know they are better. I would LOVE to see more 844. I vote lionel over MTH by quite a bit. Glad to see someone with a similar opinion.

nothing is cheap with Legacy it is expensive i got one the C&O Legacy 2696 Berksihre and it runs great i will make a video when i want to so watch my other account Railroadtrip445

the legacy based unit has power from the wall and a single wire connection to the track. the rest is all r/f

im not quite sure about that i do know there is some compatabilty between lionel and mth comand systems. just stick with lionel little more expensive but it is a better product

dont lie just because your poor i have over 20 lionel locomotives and some of witch are probably older than you and guess what they all run just fine no problems i stick with what i said befor BETTER PRODUCT

mths steamers 80% of the time use the same chuffing,whistles,bells as there railking line lionels sound is far better and the detail on there vison line products is the best in the train industry to date mth is know for its good smoke units

Legacy is a good system. I enjoy it very much. I also have DCS and I think it is just as good if not superior particularly since I up graded it to 4.0 and I can run both TMCC and Legacy Locomotives from it with no problems.
