I don't know, I don't like this show. The first to VJ games were my adolescence-defining games, but the whole, Battle games with that Junior kid, bleh I just don't like them. I wish i could like it, and I hope someone can make me want to give it another try, but it seems just un-true to the first two games. Partly to the voice actor of Joe sounding NOTHING like the American voice actor of the game. In fact, non of the characters do, which really kills it for me.

Okay, I gotta say, this show's theme song is awesome. I'm still not used to Silvia's japanese voice, though. It's much higher pitched than her voice in the english versions of the anime & games.

But in this series, the dub had a whole bunch of stuff edited out. I prefer this version because of the edits, even though the translation is laughable. You can still get a pretty good idea what's going on, and you get to see the whole thing.

It's crappy subbing on the part of the translators. If you listen to the audio, the characters actually say Junior.

VJ was a hugely underappreciated anime, but did okay in japan. his games were freakin awesome, and because of those games I'm watchin the anime, his games recieved awesome reviews, but it never had good enough advertisement. Thusly, Clover studios, a developing company that was part of capcom was dissolved,and clover studios made VJ games. They lost intellectual rights to VH, so the only slight hope is that capcom makes more vj games. But even if they dnt ima keep believin in vj no matter what.

The problem mostly was the wrong network, Kids' WB ruined it by bad timeslot. Plus the games have been getting bad rep by similarity. Silvia did nothing new for the series.

They also ruined it by forcing Phuuz to do a lot of unnecessary edits such as cutting entire scenes and blocking Joe's middle finger out of his hand sign. Not only that, but Kids WB did not manage to air all the episodes in their proper ONCE. The run started with episode 4 and episodes 1-3 didn't run until a month later. They handled the entire thing piss poor IMHO.

It started with episode 5. And although it was out of order, a lot of them were filler episodes. And no matter what order they were in they all still appeared in episode 25 to support Joe.

Well really I understand why they aired episode 5 first. It introduced Captain Blue Junior and since he's in the opening you have to tell them who this guy is. Really it never bothered me. Kinda like what James Rolfe said in his overview of the zelda timeline when he got to Twilight Princess. "This could take place ANYtime in the Zelda timeline, but it kicks so much ass that you really don't care."

Same goes for VJ. I'm actually watching the series in order now. I'm almost to 27.

The sound doesn't suck? Look man, I'd have had these up before you if I had't also had sound problems with my capture card. Notice that I also have episodes 25 and 26 up for awhile. Now that the sound problem has been fixed, I'm on an uploading binge. Already up to episode 32, and I've got 8 more to go. I'm missing episodes 41 through 52, so if you have those, how about uploading them instead?
