@SuperDUDE666666 good question. im going to say no just for the explosion factor... i would rather get hit with plastic that AL, but also the LEY may eat at the AL??? not sure? thanks! ~Russ
@rwg42985 hi, me interesting it possibly hho gas flame ignite small amount water, can you add to torch something where is possible inject water, example additional hole on torch from side, and screw syngerin, please try for me/us, I cant try still have not tools for this
Howdy russ, hey I got a couple quick questions. You have no electrolyte right? Are the tubes conditioned if not? If I remember right the conditioned tubes with that white layer that forms was one of the ways Stan was able to get such a high production right? In bob boyces' pdf he mentions monatomic hho, how is this produced?
@bluejmc all good questions, i think its allot of stuff in how the gas is made, not just the cell condition. so like ionizing the gasses as there made like stan did... that's where he picked up more energy for the same... so much we dont know about types of Hydrogen... no electrolyte in the Vortex cell, no, but yes it is in the 5x5 SGC... ~Russ
@JamesMcC34 yes ,google Bill Williams Split gas cell 5x5 and you will find some its all open source. i may start a thread over at the forms on this one! ~Russ
look up "Rocket Mass Heater" ist really simple and u can def build it yourself on the cheap, there's some nice clips here on the tube, for example /watch?v=1lIi9-92j30 It works even better in u use some old firebricks for the burning-tube at the base, like this watch?v=2bsUd5zLcLw
It works really good, a simple metal drum for the heater and a long horizontal exhaust will make the shop nice and hot in no time ;) U can doooo it!
@InventorGadget thanks man!!! i l like the pocket rocket heater. that's supper simple. but i dont think i will make one in side???? lol that's some interesting stuff tho! never seen one! crazy! ~Russ
I wish I had a wood stove in my garage too! I have a little propane heater, but it don't do much when its below freezing. I don't even attempt HHO experiments in the winter. I think the teflon tape really only works on pipe thread that is tapered, the threads actually mash tighter together the farther you turn it on. It's more of a lubricant to get the threads together tighter. :)
@rwg42985 I'm thinking teflon might melt or burn? I know its on frying pans and they put it in engine oil, but I think it would be much hotter than that. I wonder if the stove cement Jeff is using on his reprap nozzles would work.
I would also think that adding salt to the water might increase gas production through increased conductivity assuming there is electrolysis involved, but there may be some concern of build-up.
@cyalense yes, but also draw more amps and heat the water faster... and that's bad. salt also will give off bleach i be leave. lye is better for this and allot of people use it. right now i will not use it on this cell. thanks ~Russ
I might be wrong, but I would think that standard teflon tape for plumming connections should work fine since teflon is coated on pans for cooking and it seems to take heat pretty well.
I also use a wood stove to for heat. I bought mine off craigslist. Harbor Freight sales a cheap one that would be good for a shop and you can find 20 percent off coupons all over the place.Chopping wood is agrevating, lol. I despise it. Not sure if you keep up with the Nickel-Hydrogen Reactor of Rossi's but I'm reading information that a million plus units are coming to market in the U.S by fall of next year. Home Depot may carry them lol. Hope its the last year I use this wood stove....
Split cell looks good. Nice work. I had all sorts of issues using thread seal tape as well. It always ended up leaking. I haven't tried the adhesive your using but I have tested a lot of the Permatex automotive adhesives or rtv adhesive and they hold up to heat and the electrolyte. JB weld works awesome for permanent connections and have began testing it on sealing hole edges of plates. Its also unaffected by electrolyte. Both good to 500 degrees. Your hho unit is looking great too.
High temp ceramic epoxy from McMaster-Carr for the torch tip fitting. I use typical crazy glue for plastic and PVC connections - and the best stuff is gel type .

cr76802 2 months ago
@cr76802 hho is around 3000 to 5000+ degrees but... the flam is not directed at the disk... so it should see much lower temps... ~Russ
