  • Hey, for how long did you have the bottle open? (that was a while ago I know but if you can remember). I just wanna know "roughly" after how many days such a bottle of whisky changes, and within how many days should it be consumed. Thanks.

  • @111ImNumber1 Most drams start to lose nose & palate as soon as they are open, so I like to review them immediately. Still they hold most of their "flavors" for months if they are well sealed. I had a Balvenie that was still quite nice almost a year after I opened it. Not as good as when it was opened yet still pleasing. Don't feel you need to be in a rush to finish a bottle (unless you want to). YMMV

  • Thought Macallan, was a Speyside whisky rather than a highland??? or am i wrong?

  • @Brad9491 Yes, Macallan is a Speyside malt. Technically, Speyside is a subset of the Highland region, so in this instance we can both be correct :)

  • Greetings from Mexico!! nice review Sir.. i like The Macallan 12 sherry oak so much is wonderful.
