I got a question why do they always focus on taking the hyperdrive when its the weapons they should focus on??? The hyperdrive its only going to keep in the battlefield and most of the time before the beamers were installed the hive ships had the advantage..
Hitting the Hyperdrive will keep the enemy ship engaged.
With the new beam weapons, the Earth ships can actually take on and take down a Hive ship with ease. They would rather destroy it then let it get away.
@32silvercoins It also prevents them from escaping in case the get in trouble. You see a ship cannot be tracked in hyperspace because it does'nt interact with normal space time.
an single hive is no match for a BC 304 with asgard shields (can survive some hours against a cruiser so against only 1 or 2 hive's it could last at least an hour)
