I am going to take my HD in next couple of days. As I see here a lot people comparing it to Iphone. For me personally it doen't make any sense. It is all about what you need to have in your phone.

Those who hate Iphone, just compare touchscreens of those phones, multitouch... I do not know any phone who bits Apple's product in that point, BUT, for me personally I do need freedom while I am using my device. I don't want to be I tunes use or apple store in order to load stuff on my device.

Htc HD is just a piece of shit, even iPhone 3g. Kick it's ass, compare with iPhone 3gs, htc can no longer being a compeitior .... And this is the truth. Windows mobile? How long will it take to start? 100years? The battery life of HD is even worse. Not many or even any good third party app because of a way too big screen+still very horrible touch screen. I hope you can still sell HD for a nice price, it will 100% dispoint you,guys!

The iphone brightness, screen is better... because it uses a capacitive touch screen compare to the touch HD which uses a resistive touch technology...

Capacitive panels aren't necessarily better than resistive. Each has benefits over the other. The HD uses windows mobile which is designed for use with a stylus, making it better for writing and a more accurate touchscreen. Whereas the Iphone is designed for gesture based navigation using fingers, which the capacitive touch panel is much smoother for. HTC have a range of capacitive screen phones which use the android OS. I haven't seen them yet, but they look interesting.

For those who doesn't seek a PDA mobile, then the best choice is to have capacitive. Resistive screens looks feeble next to the glass of the capacitive ones, and have worst image too. Having to draw the stylus to use the phone just make it more user unfriendly.

I got the Touch HD myself but it pisses me off that firstly HTC doesn't advertise their phones well, so it's always a niche market. Secondly Microsoft should really invest into HTC implementing these looks into Windows Mobile 7, it seems like they care more about their Desktop OS than their phone OS.

It has a 3.2mp camra its pretty good. but its much better than an iphone as u can get unlimited broadband,unlimited txts and like 600mins for around 30-35 a month. but yeah i wouldnt say no to an iphone but if u have to jailbreak it to get video...and even then u still dont get bluetooth? i just rekon the htc with its windows mobile OS is more versitle and better for people that kno a lil bit about computers.
