i am a christian Jesus follower. I like to not watch bloody gory rape sex movies, does that make me a bad person, NO. these movies are rediculous. @mauriciohavok Why is that funny? If you didn't understand the Bible, why didn't you get someone else to help you understand? Someone with true knowledge of Christ? Rejecting Christ will not do you any good. Do yourself a favor and go find some people to make the Bible clear to you. Because if you truly understood its message you would call yourself Christian, not atheist. Do you get understand that you can't get love form a Big Bang? There is a purpose in life; to submit ourselves to Christ.

@MissKeKeBLUE Why should someone need to help me understand the word of an all intelligent all powerful being? if god is perfect, and the bible was inspired by god, then the bible should be perfect, it's not, it was written by men (check with any historian, the bible has way more authors than it claims). I do not reject christ because I don't even know whether or not he existed, I respect his message of peace, but that doesn't mean that yaweh is real.

@MissKeKeBLUE And the love part is completely moronic, no you can't get love from the current best understanding of the origin of the universe, love is a human emotion, best explained by biology, it is a trait that we share with most mammals, and it's a product of evolution.
As for the purpose of life, if a god created humanity just for it to worship him then he's nothing more than a big imperfect human.

that you want nothing to do with the sick and wicked sin of this world that has caused you to have to repent to Jesus in the first place and yes we have to live here and yes we still have to help people to come to Christ but how can we help them if were just like them we need to separate the darkness from the light and show people the way to Jesus the way to be set free from sin we need to be a light house the bible says follow peace and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord

I haven't seen Juno, But I agree with the "Christ Follower". Sometimes people like the "Christian" don't think I should watch movies with any violence or swearing or sin... HOW are we supposed to learn about what is going on in the world then? what about: Blood Diamond, Hotel Rwanda, documentaries on Darfur, watching the news, learning about sex trafficking, etc. I don't support mindless, pointless violence, but when it sheds light on a real situation, I think it is responsible to learn and love

Ok people listen up, don't believe everything you read in books, people try to take advantage of you to get your money.
The bible is an example of that book where you shouldn't believe everything that is in it. It's not a book of Truth, it's a book of agendas designed to take control of large masses of gullible people to take control of their time energy and money.

This critique is too simplified. The fact is there are many (most?) movies that do not provide the payoff described by the Jesus follower, or at least the waste of time and watching the evil displayed as entertainment outweighs any good gained for one's life from watching the movie. The situation for Christ followers is more complicated than this, I'd hate to see people use this as excuse to delve into a baser level of thinking, experience, and acceptance of things Jesus doesn't want for us.

People are not facts. The charlatans garnering your tithe who teach you these superstitions and convincing you that the myths are 'fact' are trying to keep you dumb, to keep you in their area, to keep you coming back, to keep your tithe income stream flowing.
Religions are like viruses, they do not spread because of the holy hand of God, they spread because people like you go around and get gullible people to believe in supernatural superstitions. This video is the virus' latest adaption.

There are 4 historians who wrote of a person called "Christi", Josepheus has been proven a fraud. The other three don't mention miracles - just a man.

@kimmoxo well by saying someone is christian you're implying that they are a Jesus follower.Anyway I'm not trying to shove my beliefs down your throat, but the world had to come from somewhere, I mean the world can't just happen randomly. It's the exact amount away from the sun so we wouldn't burn or freeze and everything in the world has a purpose (seems to be created) so it makes sense that there is a creator, God.

Using your logic "god" didnt create other planets being that theyre too close or too far from the sun to keep life as we know it. with all the millions of stars and planets in the universe I'd say chance is the most likely reason for the small # of planets w/ life

@Sasuke90000000 I think it is equally feasible to assume that everything came from nothing as it is to assume that god came from nothing and then made everything from nothing. The god theory however simply adds an extra step with no evidence to support it. Why does everything have to have a "purpose" on earth? Did extinct animals have a purpose? Dodo birds? How about all the planets in our solar system with no life? Whatever put them there mustve been stupid, didnt realize they couldnt have life

@QShots God did not come from nothing, he just Is. He was here from the beginning of time and he will still be here when this life is over. A great amount of evidence is seen in people's lives and the Bible. Just because you reject it does not make it untrue. Extinct animals have a purpose for the very fact that they were created by God. Nothing God does is stupid. There are purposes for those planets even if it is not yield life. You are not God, you don't know his reasoning behind things.
