SS6.3 which I need to downland for SS6.4 wont run. I have M2TW with Kingdoms dsik. It says in my screen I need a disk for the 6.3 bit? I have the folder of 6.3 in the mod file of M2TW of Creative Assembly. Is something wrong the way I downloaded it, or should I download the 6.4 .exe first?

O, very nice, enemys tour lasted for about 40 seconds. On my old computer it was like 2 minutes and 30 seconds, which was horrible and made me stop playing this. I gonna try it with new comp. Shogun 2 < Medieval 2.

All i don't like about this mod is that to raise troops that arent basic milia spearmen you have to wait like 8 turns before you can recruit the unit again.

The mod is ok, but it's overrated. The AI is better on the battlefield (slightly) and on the strategic map (slightly) but I beat it on my first try with Poland.

I liked how they made the Generals lower level and more difficult to raise.

The music is also better.

Okay okay, this has probably been brought up on some forum somewhere but I'll put the idea out there anyway....The Total War people make some modern war TW's maybe a WW1 to WW2 era game then maybe a Gulf War.....nah, scratch that last bit. But still keep the WWTW, then you take ALL the total war games from Sh2TW, Med2TW, EmTW, RTW. modernize them all, fill in the gameplay with some indian and other asian factions in each era then...BAM...TOTAL WAR ULTRA- you would play from ancient to today.

@Midironica Think of it, you could start the ULTRA campaign as british tribals. Fight the romans and other tribes. After enough time passes you transition into the british kingdom of medieval times. Give it more time and then you get into the imperial age and so on. It would be like a non-corny/cartoony version of civilization. The map would span the entire globe as well.

Ok, I know the campaign would be super long and there are a million different historical problems too consider but still....

@Midironica I would love a WW2 game that combines Hearts of Iron and Men of War. Think it would work better than TW's engine... for modern combat that is.

@Midironica I was also thinking about making a Total War spanning ancient to modern, but then I realized it would be nearly impossible. Too many nations changing so fast. In place of Rome there would be seven different nations in middle ages, how do you get rid of Rome just like that and put in these different nations?

@Danorowski Well the HRE and England and French kingdoms would start out as barbarian groups. The Roman factions would transition into Venice, Milan, Sicily (central Italian players who had Rome would have the pope in Rome but the Pope would play a smaller role in this universal game so it'd be ok)

I admit, it would be difficult and their would definitely be some major holes historically but it would be one awesome game.

@Midironica Yea, it would be just like you said, but the problem is that if you start playing as Rome in classical era and would conquer Europe, how would game deal with getting rid of ALL of your hard work and installing barbarian states? Wouldn't that piss you off? Unless, of course, you get to choose which one of the barbaric realms you want to transition as into a kingdom. Or which HRE city state you want to play as and try and unify them under HRE and eventually Germany.

@Danorowski Yeah, I was thinking that the world map would expand as time progressed. Also, if you conquered an area in ancient times it would not form a nation but just remain part of your territory. So if you started playing in ancient times as a northern roman faction and you conquered the gaul region of france and held it, the French kingdom would not exist but would not exist for the rest of the game.

If you move your merchants down into the middle east, for example Egypt, you get like 500+ florins a turn for sugar etc. Its better than keeping the merchants in your own regions as they only get like 30 florins a turn.

I download and install 6.3 and it works perfect. Then I install 6.4 and it loads to the screen with the crusader on it and it says stainless steel 6.4 then it crashes to my desktop idk what to do! please HELP ME

@Tejmaster1 Adds more cities (territories) , game is now much more interesting, you need strategy, battles are different, elite units are very rare in the beginning , i need to wait 10 turns to recruit new heavy cavalry .... everytning is much more expensive and it takes longer to build ..and many many more ...much better then original TW2

@tomme25 Hey, I need some help: I have tried downloading SS, and there where apperently no problems. but when I start the game, it goes out and of the loading screen and says that my computer have encountered a "unspecified problem".

Do you have any idea what i can do? I have searched on the FAQ site on the totalwar forum, and i have scanned the program, and the computer says that it is fine, AND I have tried to re install it from different websites, and it still dosent work: WHAT do I do?

@malan16 I'm not good at doing tutorial videos. I had no problems installing it. I did a fresh install of Medieval War, then I dowloaded 6.3 and the 6.4 patch. Installed it it with no problems. Maybe you should try with a fresh install?

@deatscart I have played that mod aswell, it's very good. I played as Gondor. It was an eternal struggle against the orcs hehe. I'm waiting for the next release, 3.0 I think.

@tomme25 i know your pain man, as Gondor i was using a Sub-Mod that makes Harad send Corsair Invasion near your coast, it's actually a pack of mods called the Baron Samedi's Gameplay Enhancing Submods Compilation, in this sub-mod you have the choice to make Nazgul invincible (like they where in the movie), god the witch-king can become annoying with this option, but activating the Beacon of Gondor in time of needs and the Counter-Invasion makes up for it :D If you still got the mod, look it up

@deatscart Yeah, I downloaded that sub-mod aswell. Great minds thinks alike :P But I didn't activate the corsair invasion, that just seemed a bit much. I used the beacon mod. But that thing just felt wierd. Very big armies spawning from nothing. So I disabled it.... and got my ass handed to me :)
