The reason that the items are placed in those places is so that u have to buy the strategy guide. Simple as that.

Phil if i were to rank you as an all around gamer I am sad to say it would be below average But if were to say Your skill in fighting games ID say Near the top So phil if you want to play a game like a game dont rush it just remember stuff they tell you

Also, just going along with what you said in a prior video about not having a clue how to play this game if you didn't play XIII, it is very true. For the using the Chocobo to get to places you normally can't reach - it is the same. In XIII you had to do the same thing. So you would have been expected to know by playing it. I agree though, I would have been totally lost had I not played the first.

For what is worth, I have found all 3 of these cores from the normal pace of the story. I am surprised you haven't because you found 'Serah Mask' which is incredibly hard to see and I completely missed that one. For the two Chocobo ones you found in this video I got them the first time I was there by using Mogs find ability near the edges / walls then just tossing him over the ledges to get them. I dunno, but when I rotate the camera over these blatant hidden item places, I usually find them :)

The only aspect of this FFXIII-2 game that I actually liked was the nice, scenic areas and hearing Phil raging, which makes me love all his lets plays. Total LOL. I'm actually sooo glad I didn't buy this game after what I've seen with the battles,story, and imo, awful loot mechanics from the mobs/bosses you kill...but no offence to those that did. I would never buy a game that wouldn't be fun to replay a few times over and atm I cant wait for this game to end.Good vids though Phil, ty saved me $

Also bitching about how you'd never find it, each core has a picture that shows you where it is. It's not that damn difficult phil, i found all 5 cores in about 35 minutes, with no guide's at all.

But of course because he skips that text than blames Square Enix. I like his vids but blaming the company/game for everything is getting a little old.

@Akzeriuth2 I agree with part of your comment, but some little things you can easily miss are not a big deal... and you have to consider he is doing commentary, now try reading every text in a game and missing 1 little thing that is described in 3 words... now, the first one you need a chocobo, in bresha ruins... a lot of people got stuck, they never found these cores... and I would blame Square Enix for that, after all its poorly designed gameplay
