your hair is to die for, i gather its naturally light if you are only using a box dye? how many times do you do it -just the once? i used 3 box dyes, (pre-lighteners) ruined my hair and its still not as light as yours but i will use professional products only from now on as they are stronger (lighten more) and my hair is quite dark to begin with. thanx for posting the video wish it was as easy for me as all of that :)
I only do it once with one box (as i only touch up on my roots now) And i leave it on for an hour, thats it really (i think your only meant to leave it on for 40 mins or so but i leave it longer so it takes to my hair) If you have got dark hair though you would need to strip the colour out, using 40% vol bleach (the strongest) But would probably be best to get it done at the hairdressers.x
@PlatinumBl0nde i wouldnt use 40, it's better to do 2 lots of 20 than 40 and if used 40 on your scalp you would end up in the emergency room with scabs on your head. i used 30 last year and couldnt believe how strong it felt on my head, didnt like the bleach i used that time and hairdressers are hopeless where i live. twice i have had different salons put foils in my hair when i have asked for all over lightening and they use cheap/harsh products that fry my hair. i can do better than they can!.
@glamourQUEENsevnteen Hmm ok. Everyone's different with how they react to bleach i guess. I used 40%vol then 20% vol bleach on my hair when it was really dark underneath,(half my hair was blonde, other half was blacky brown) seemd to work fine for me. & my friend who has naturally black hair has to use 40 bleach on her hair to lift. But then again i know people who get burns from using 20 vol bleach. Just a case of seeing what works for you i guess.
@PlatinumBl0nde i'm pretty sure 30 and 40 are for 'off scalp bleaching' and i have been told from my supplier who is a hairdresser that 2 lots of 20 will be much better for your hair as far as the condition. my hair is 'hard to lighten' and so i need something that is specifically for that/speed lightening & am thinking about buying the roux white or violites. also it's really important i find a bleach with built in conditioner or ideally chamomile so my hair is left in soft brushable condition.
love your videos, ive recently dyed my hair a milk chocolate colour, my hair was exactly the same colour as yours, i used the touch of silver too but i found that it used to turn my hair a violet/grey/silver colour it was really good though! i wash my hair everyday, thats why i had to colour my hair because its so dry and brittle! :( but hopefully it will get better, keep up the good videos! :) xxx
Did you have to tone your hair extensions to get them platinum blonde?
