tkstka-I also believe,that the education in Iraq was of extremely high standard before the sanctions meant,that teachers had to leave,as they weren't being paid.Sadly,some ended up as taxi drivers etc.The Universities in Iraq were regarded as at least some of the best in the Middle East.How many are still functioning,left standing?How many schools are intact?We know how horrific the medical/hospital situation is-thanks to US bombs!This is in contravention of the Geneva Conventions!
