MyLincoln Touch is horrible. It is buggy beyond belief. It is sluggish and complex. The idea is to the system more user friendly so you keep your eyes on the road. However, to push a certain spot on a screen is harder than to grab a knob. I have had numerous random issues that resulted in problems with the climate system, the audio system, the phone, and navigation (all 4functions of the touch screen). I would rethink buying this car with the touch option; just buy a garmin instead
I bought a Lincoln MKX and well the automatic climate control when cold outside and set to 70 heats the vehicle to 80 and when hot outside won't cool the vehicle below 80 in a reasonable amount of time.. I would love to take a trip but would miss the scenery because I would be messin with the "AUTOMATIC" system

The workers that build your car are generally drunk or high. I've even seen beer cans in door panels numerous times. Management only cares about production not quality. Many laws are broken in production.

Wouldn't it be nice to hire a person to name cars with a NAME instead of all these stupid letters. If you tell someone you drive a Navigator, an Eldorado, a Thunderbird... we get an idea of what it is. If you tell them you drive a MKX, DTS, G6... how DULL can we get? The Navigator sells because of its name, these stupid "lettered" cars are not notable and very forgetable. Call it what it is, an Aviator - show some originality!
@Xxwyzee I kinda like the alphanumeric system, but this is comming from someone who sits in a laboratory all day, I like to keep things short and simple, so when I say FTIR, people know what machine it is. if you think saying FTIR sounds dull tell them to use the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
When can I order one? I have a 2008 MKX that I run through biz (Lease) and I hope the 2011 is out before October when my Lease expires. The Lincoln web site is still vague on release date and there's no build function yet.
well the old grill wasn't that bad, i was refering to more of it's side view, it was hard to tell if it were a MKX or an EDGE looking at it in profile

I'm sorry but both Cadillac and Lincoln are not in the same class as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi etc.... You get in either one of them and the first thing that hits you is the smell of all of those plastic bits and pieces. They look cheap and quite frankly when I see one the road I half expect that the owner is either a basket ball player or a pimp.
The taillights look somewhat like the ones on the 2011 Sienna, and the front is rather synonymous with other Lincolns. But I still like it, I think it's still well executed and has class.
whenever i see a commercial for Buick, Lincoln, Cadillac or some Ford, they never talk about performance or handling, all they talk about is some expensive option extra. this video reminds me of that.
I think this amount of chrome is fine. But putting chrome trim on EVERYTHING is terrible. Especially putting huge rims on cars that have to be lifted to use them. But, this is all a matter of opinion, and we all have those.
... well, you're contradicting yourself then. name one body panel, besides the roof, that doesn't have chrome on it. i think you'll only find about 2. and those wheels are pure chrome, as is that horrible grille. for god's sake, even the tail-lights are outlined in chrome.

Oh this looks amazing. Looks so much better than the last model and the new engine option is going to be great. Cannot wait for this to come out. The front lights looked like the edge's from the side but they're obviously a lot different from the front. Amazing car. Looks better than the rs imo.

... there's a difference between some chrome and just splashing it everywhere. it's called taste. mercedes does it well, lincoln does not.
chrome is a representation of higher-end cars only in america. everywhere else in the world, it's simply vulgar, and i agree.
